I absolutely love this place!! The service is fantastic, the staff is always so nice to me when I come in. I feel very heard and respected. The coffee is amazing, the food is delicious. This has become my everyday spot! They have created such a good environment in here, there really is no other place like it. I’ve never seen such good customer service. I also love the art! Definitely recommend.

I don’t know what happened to this place but it has gone downhill. It’s been about a year since I’ve been here and I used to come alot. My mom and I stopped in this past Saturday to grab a bite. We both ordered two breakfast sandwiches with cheese and bacon. & the cook forgot the EGG! It took 25 mins to get our food, there was no line- hardly anyone there. The cashier seemed like she was on a cloud and I thought I was talking to a wall. I’m so sad to see this place like this. Since the older male chef retired, it’s not the same. Will not be returning.

Legal Grounds Café in Wilmington is a wonderful spot. We were the first customers of the day at 7 a.m. and received such a warm, welcoming greeting. The coffee was excellent, and the breakfast sandwich and muffins were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The staff were professional with a genuine touch of care, which truly stood out. They also have a great outdoor seating area where you can bring your fur babies, even in the winter. A lovely way to start the day—I’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic service, a comfortable atmosphere, incredible food, and a perfectly made custom coffee. Greeted by multiple employees upon walking into the restaurant. They perfected my maple almond cinnamon americano and the breakfast sandwich was large without being overbearing. Plenty of seating and tons of free parking.

My favorite coffee shop nearby! They make the perfect drinks, sandwiches, pastries, you name it. I wish they had some comfier seating, but apart from that 10/10 every time.
