Purchased a danish, cookie and spinach and cheese roll. Was very disappointed with all and threw away. Waste of my money

First timer. Exceeded expectations. Cheesecake was most and dense. My favorite way.

They couldn’t have been more helpful. I needed a custom cake in a pinch and they accommodated immediately. Thanks to everyone who helped out!

The tomato 🍅 pie is gas and so r the doughnuts! If you don’t know what that means, it means it’s really good. I love coming here for fresh bread and doughnuts will most definitely return!

Great bakery. I bought my wedding cake here 4 years ago. Also had a pastry cart.

Cake felled! For granddaughters 1st bday. Andrea the Manager refused to give apology or any money back for non-supported cake. Will never buy another cake here, they are soo unprofessional.

Typically we come here for the cookies and last minute cakes. My family got a wedding cake made decades ago that is still one of the best.

This trip was the day after Easter, and the service we and another lady got from the young Hispanic/latin girl was worse than I’ve gotten from a fast-food chain on their busiest hour. No greeting for us or the lady behind us. Didn’t know the pricing on anything, and seemed annoyed she had to help anyone at all.

A majority of our order, including cake pops, cupcakes and cookies, were supposed to be half off given the sale. Another lady told her this and even with repeated attempts at making her specifically pick the cupcakes on sale, or giving us the discount, which as absent even after check-out, her “I hope this is over soon,” attitude was obvious.

After spending almost $90 and clearly bothering this girl, I think we’ll stick to letting someone else go if we see her again. And a little education on customer service should be included.

Old school bakery with a myriad of options to choose from. Visited late morning on the Thursday after Christmas with no line and no wait, though there were still other customers there. So many baked goods to choose from! I went with the cream puffs. 4 for $8 not too bad. The cream puffs themselves were a bit softer than what I would’ve liked. I will go back and try something else next time.

I have been going here since I moved to Delaware almost 3 years ago, my fiancé ordered a dozen rolls Christmas Eve and a tomato pie they accidentally gave us 10 rolls I called and the manager got back to me within a few minutes ! Very Professional Was so sweet apologetic even gave us a credit for free rolls the next time !! Mistakes happen!! But this place the people are very genuine and care about their customers I have nothing bad to say !! Go here it is the best hands down!! Thanks guys!

I’m not the best at adding reviews, but I wanted to take some time to shout out Serpes & their team! We’re lucky enough to live in the neighborhood, just walking distance from this iconic bakery. We always loved their treats - especially the tomato pie - so we asked them to make our son’s first birthday cake. His party was “Hey Bear” themed and boy did Serpes knock it out of the park! They were so easy & helpful to work with and the cake was BEYOND cute & delicious. It was the perfect addition to the celebration & our guests TORE IT UP, lol. Thank you Serpes for helping to make Max’s birthday so special! We can’t wait to come back & order again soon!! Highly recommend!!!

Came to this place with a friend to pick up pizza crusts. We placed an online order like many customers had, but we had to wait in a long line (which was approximately 40 + minutes) just play ck up and order... And I noticed when we finally got to pick up our order there were two customers that came in and went straight to the cashier who also had placed an order earlier and were served right away with no questions asked and we're not told to wait in the long line like everyone else. The food may be of great quality, but their service is severely lacking and organization needs help as well. Granted we came today before Christmas Eve to pick up our order, but the line was not out the door it was maybe only 10-15 people and yet the six or so employees behind the counter could not provide adequate service.

Serpe’s Bakery may have decent cookies, but that’s where the positives end. The staff is cold and uninterested, making you feel like you’re bothering them just by walking in the store. Worst of all, their policy is baffling: whether you’re picking out 200 individual cookies or picking up a pre-ordered pre-boxed PAID FOR order, you still have to stand in the same 50 person long, frustrating line. If you’re looking for a pleasant experience, skip this place and save your time--there are other options in Wilmington, and plenty of better and nicer bakeries in Philly

Picked up a famous Tomato Pie - crust was half as thick as previous, sauce also thin and dry, flavor not what was previously. Pie was famous for all wrong reasons. Having to wait in line with all walk-in customers for an item ordered and paid for on-line is frustrating.
