We went to get cheesesteak subs from them since they had great reviews but I agree with some of the other recent reviews where the sub was full of steak and had a great flavor but neither I or my gf had hardly any cheese on the sub! She got the American and I got provolone and on both of our 12” sub the cheese was almost non existent and definitely could not be called a cheesesteak sub but just a steak sub. Where the hell was the cheese????? Don’t know if I’ll be back or...
Love High Stakes! We've been going there for years and it never disappoints. Great food at reasonable prices. Their cheesestakes and fries with gravy are the best. Where other places charge you to build your own sandwich, their toppings are all included in the price.
I live out of state and have to get a steak sub (via take-out) every time I visit!!! Sub rolls are not dense and overwhelming. Steak is tender and requested toppings are always correct.
