The green tomatoes needed the remoulade otherwise devoid of taste but that is my only complaint. We got the fried shrimp special and they gave 10 very good jumbo shrimpies. This may be an off season special only. I came here specifically for the blue catfish po boy and it was delicious. So do your bit and get down to JRs Seafood Shack to help eradicate this invasive species.

Service was incredibly friendly (albeit slow). Food was delicious. 1/2 price entrees on Mondays made it a very affordable dinner out for our family.

We had a great meal here on our first visit. We tried a number of appetizers which everyone enjoyed. Heard a few say the crab soup was the best they ever had. The entrees were no exception. We were too full for dessert, but they also looked great. They have a lot of Big Oyster beers as well as a decent bourbon offering (much of whisky row even). The service was exceptional. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We felt appreciated for stopping in. We will return.

The fried catfish, oyster sliders, crabcake with corn salsa and rice, and the seafood boil were all fantastic. Our entrees were on their $20 special menu for this month. We can't wait to be back to try some more food!

This was our first time, for two couples, at this "new" restaurant in the area. The evening weather was in the midst of a strong "noreaster" hitting the area and several restaurants closed due to it. We were glad to find them open. Food was good. Wine list was mediocre at best. It may improve if they maintain and increase business. There weren't many patrons, so service wasn't tested. Decor and atmosphere were very coastal in style.
