Lovely, gem of a smaller restaurant. Perfect date pm w/husband. Our Server Mikala was wonderful & helpful. Food was perfection (ahi tuna done just as requested) & paired well. Appetizer was also Perfect. 1/2 off wine bottle was also nice! It's the place to be especially off season!! Thanks chefs & staff. We will be back.
We usually frequent this restaurant every time we visit North Ocean City because we always enjoy the fresh food and excellent service. Today was different. The server was kind and professional, but it took an unusually long amount of time to get our food. The mahi-mahi was delicious, but the rest of the food was cold and tasteless. The avocado sauce tasted like it was blended with old, closet oil and the beet salad was all beets with a splash of arugula. It was so strange to see so many beets and hardly any lettuce. I would definitely give them another try because they have never disappointed us before, but it’s sad to see the Quality of their food and service go downhill. Just another little peeve, the table was wiped down before we sat and was VERY sticky. They could definitely step it up a notch.
I had a nice dinner with my son here. The service was good and the good was better. I'd certainly revisit this or any of the others in this group of restaurants.
First, the atmosphere was great. It was clean and well designed. The hostess and server were polite and attentive. We ordered the hot honey wings, crab corn and jalapeno bisque and the smash burger. I was disappointing that their draft beer was not available but they had a descent variety of bottle/can selection. My wife had the muleberry and was pleased. As the food came out my wife and I were very excited as it looked delicious. The bisque needed more (crab, corn and jalapeno) in my opinion but my wife thought it was good and finished it. The burger had great flavor but they had to reheat it and it was overcooked bc it was sitting waiting for other food items (we know this bc we sat next to the open kitchen and could see/hear them discuss it). The wings had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. The only downside is they didn't have ranch, blue cheese or any other dipping sauce. Besides that, they were really good. Overall, there are things that can be easily fixed and we will give this restaurant another chance bc the staff, atmosphere, menu and for the most part everything we ate had great/fresh flavors.
We heard great things about this restaurant, but unfortunately they didn't live up to those expectations! We arrived at 7:30pm, Sunday after Bike Week. It started when we ordered draft beers. We were told that the cooler with the draft beer was broken. We then asked for some Peach Sangria - they told us that it was in the same broken cooler and it went bad. We ordered 3 mango pineapple margaritas (daily special) and a bottle of Heineken beer. The margaritas had a faint taste of salami and the bottle of beer was just cooler than room temperature. We told the waitress about margaritas and was told that no one else had complained about them. I asked for a colder bottle of beer and was told by the bartendress that they were all the same temperature - I had to drink the beer over ice to get it cold (watered down and flat). We ordered our starters and entrees. They were out of crab cakes!! The crab dip was non-descript! It was bland and we had a difficult time finding much crab in it. The crab bisque wasn't much better regarding the lack of crab. The calamari wasn't anything special. The Boom Boom Shrimp was good and so were the ribs. The Fish & Chips and Tuna were good, but WAY over priced! I took some time at the end of the evening to apprise the Manager of the issues we had regarding our dining experience. She listened and told us she was surprised and had an attitude about my comments, because they have such a good reputation. Regarding the crab dip, she said if they put any more crab in it they'd have to charge $40 for it!!! She offered us a complimentary dessert or drink, which we declined. She did ultimately discount our bill, but not enough for us to ever take another chance at this restaurant. There are many good reviews for Just Hooked - perhaps it was just a bad day that we picked to go there!!
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to arrive at Just Hooked at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night in late July to find plenty of tables available. We could not have asked for a better spot for our only kid-less night on the town at the beach. Our crab dip and seafood entrees were creatively presented and fresh-as-can be with ample portion sizes. Our young server was enthusiastically attentive. We shared a comfortable booth where low noise levels were the perfect backdrop for good conversation. A slice of the key lime pie topped the night off perfectly. For elevated dining in unpretentious surrounds, Just Hooked in Fenwick can't be beat.
The service was great, however the food was really greasy. We couldn't finish because everything was just saturated.
My sister and I went on a Tuesday night at 6:30PM and there was no wait for us to be seated. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the timing of when our food was brought out was perfect. We got the crab dip as an appetizer along with the crab bisque and the salmon last our entrees. All of the food was delicious and extremely flavorful! We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Fenwick Island!
Definitely a great place to try if you’re willing to spend a bit more. The meal was about $50 plus the taco appetizer (didn’t get it pictured because it was way too good to stop eating!)The pasta was delicious with great flavor. My husband’s fish and chips was “good but not worth $25”.The service was good! There wasn’t an option to call in prior to get a reservation so keep that in mind.It was good, if you’re in the area willing to spend more give it a try.
Right across the street from the Fenwick Shores is this very nice cozy seafood restaurant. Excellent crowd and great ciopino - thats enough for 4 stars.

Delicious! I had a strawberry watermelon white sangria, short-ribs risotto, simple salad, and key lime pie.
On a busy 4yh of July weekend we were seated quickly and our server Madison was ready to start us with drinks. Our party of 6 adults and 2 children were accomodated with a good atble and proper seating for everyone. The Crab Bisque is outstanding and left me wanting another bowl! Burrata Salad was enjoyed by all and seasoned just right - fresh and delicious. The Rockfish was fresh with a crispy skin - served on a bed of vegetables. The Short Rib Risotto served on vegetables was tasty and plentiful! Both of these entrees are worthy of a repeat. Tuna Poke was fresh and a nice size serving. The Smash Burger was cooked perfect - medium, tender and takes two hands to hold. For dessert we had Banana Bread Pudding - topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Great finish to a excellent meal! Madison was an excellent server.
We had the boom boom shrimp which were awesome. My husband had the steak (I think ribeye) and I had the mahi mahi on the white beans. My fish was fantastic! My husband asked for a medium steak it came out rare. Not medium rare. Rare. Also there was no seasoning on the plate at all. Not on the potatoes, broccolini, or steak. I think it just missed a sprinkle of salt, pepper or whatever else. We could have fixed this our selves but there was no salt or pepper to be seen at the bar. Also our bar service was OK. The guy that helped us was friendly enough. He seemed to be working very hard even though he was filling in and this wasn’t the restaurant he usually works in. It was overall very good with some mis steps. We’d come in again. I think we just got unlucky with a few things.
Waited 45 minutes for our drinks. Apparently, only one bartender working tonight. Food was good but Service was extremely slow. Should have been given some compensation for our long wait.
Went last week for dinner with no reservations and were happily greeted by hostess and seated immediately. Our young server will hopefully do better with more experience but the floor manager jumped in to pick up the slack with removing dishes and replacing silverware with urgency in his step. The food was good and the fresh ingredients showed. The fish and chips were light and nicely seasoned. The tuna poke bowl was fresh and I enjoyed the half avocado and crunchy topping. Berry lemonade cocktail was really tart and a bit unbalanced. Decor was charming and would return when in the area.
