Tried One Coastal for the first time, last evening. We will go back next time we are in the area. The food was outstanding. I enjoyed seeing 3-time Michelin nominated chef Kern working away in the open kitchen. He had a smile on his face nearly the whole time. He clearly enjoys what he does. The service was excellent - prompt, very friendly, and knowlegeable of the menu items. The restaurant is pretty small. I'd estimate that, with seats at the bar area included, it prob ably seats 50 or so. Go! Enjoy!

We had an excellent meal with friends. The steak tartare was a highlight, but the pastry chef's olive oil chocolate cake was our favorite. Ryan also made amazing cocktails. Everything from the service to the food was top notch.

One Coastal is my go-to restaurant as a Delaware beach local. No matter the occasion (happy hour with a girlfriend or celebrating a milestone), this spot is always top of my list. Chef Matt and his team are second to none and truly go above and beyond to show off everything our little East Coast town has to offer. My friends and I often reference dishes from this restaurant while dining elsewhere...spoiler alert: nothing compares!

Had an amazing dinning experience at One Coastal last Sunday. From start to finish just fantastic. From the Parker House roll to the Agrobay green salad ,Golden Tliefish and of course the Cocio e Pepe just perfect in every way. Thank you Matt & Karen and the staff for making it all worth while. Thanks to Quinn for her f attentive service. The best meal we have had in the four years of eating all over the Delmarva Peninsula. Will be back again. Thank you.
Let’s start by saying I enjoy to eat and good food at that. One Coastal will not disappoint anyone with any palate. To be honest, this is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. We take a 3 hour trip just to eat there. When a chef has passion like the owner Matt does it becomes unrivaled. My wife historically disliked mushrooms and he had her easing appetizers and an entree with them, and yes she was blown away. Everything is top notch from the food, drinks (another story) , service, and atmosphere . Your inner fat kid dreams will have you yearning to return. Writing this has made me salivate and planning my next trip solely for this place.

Hands down, One Coastal is one of the best meals one can have on the eastern shore. Our experience here was fantastic from the initial greeting, to the uniqueness of drinks to the food. We will definitely be back and this is undoubtably our new date night spot when coming to our shore house here.
