Had lobster stuffed with crab meat. It was fantastic! Would go there again. I might just drive down from Pittsburgh for dinner one day LOL

We just got our lunch to go, but noticed the nice view from the tables in the dining area. The crab cake rivaled many of the best we have had. The rolls were great as well. The lobster quesadilla was delicious. The taste of the lobster was not prominent, but there were large chunks of lobster in the quesadilla.

We went here because my husband (and I by association 😂) like to bird and we heard there was a cool wetland you could look at while you eat. And they even have binoculars you can borrow to go birding. My husband got the shrimp and lobster bisque in a cup, and the lobster pot pie, I got the cheese steak. Everything was very good and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back

We have been going to OC every July for 7+ days for decades & happened upon The Lobster Shanty last year. We know most of the great dining spots in OC but we were so happy to have found this place!! Great food & the Quahog & Scallop Chowdah is absolutely delicious!! We came from the ferry straight to The Lobster Shanty! Our waiter Vinny was the best!! Such a nice young guy, very attentive, quick, & super helpful with our questions about crabbing! He is the best! We’ll be back during our stay so I can have your awesome Lobster Roll 😋(& I can’t pass on that Chowdah!) ~The Murphy’s ~ Greenwood Lake, NY
