First time trying this place. Has good lunch specials. Never had a taco salad before. Got the chicken… loved it and gobbled it up. Also had pork taco lunch… was excellent as well. Owner is very friendly and makes everything from scratch using healthy ingredients… not from big containers. Delicious! Cheerful surroundings.

I came here with my family on a Friday night for dinner because of looking at the pictures of Maudy's food. This place is a diamond in the rough! Man oh man Maudy's did not disappoint! THE FOOD HERE WAS AWESOME. AT FIRST BITE EVERYONE SAID WE ARE COMING BACK TOMORROW. WE FINALLY MADE IT BACK ON SUNDAY! I HAD THE BARIA TACOS AND 6 AL PASTOR TACOS. I ALMOST ATE 4 MORE! MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER COULDN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW GOID THEIR FOOD WAS WHILE THEY WERE EATING IT. MAUDY CAME OVER AND TALKED TO US FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES. SHE IS THE NICE LADY IN THE WORLD! THIS PLACE IS A MUST! MAKE SURE YOU ORED THE BARIA TACOS AND THE EL PASTOR TACOS!!!!!!💪🏿❤️

woah. this food was SO GOOD. You can tell it’s truly made with love, I really enjoyed this hidden spot. I had the empanada meal and it was great the crust was perfect. Also the quac is FRESH. def will be back

Excellent quality fresh food made from scratch. Not like most others where boxes are delivered by Sysco or PFG, taste the difference. The short ribs and fajitas were plentiful portions, sides delicious. The owner took time to share in our experience tableside. Best in Georgetown.

This is such a nice little gem! First of all, this place is super tiny, with limited seating. The dining area is only sort of separated from the kitchen- you can actually hear them preparing your food. We ordered chips and guacamole and the guac was made *just before* it was brought to our table. They don't play loud Mexican restaurant-style music. You know the kind with the loud horns etc. This place is quiet and feels very homey. The staff there WANTS you to be comfortable and enjoy your food and experience their culture. You can tell that everything is made with heart and soul.
The birria tacos were amazing, as were the burritos, quesadillas... everything the 4 of us ordered was great. We'll absolutely return to try other items on the menu.
