Terrible service says seat your self at door wife and I sat at a table for 25 minutes before anyone even said a word to us then we where told I’ll be right with you just to wait another 15 mins with no one coming back to help us . Then we go up to just order take out and again have to wait another 25 mins just to put an order in for 4 slices of pizza . Mind u it was not even busy. Terrible experience

I attempted to take my children out to eat for dinner tonight. It wasn’t super busy, but there was one large table. We stood at the host stand for a while and no one acknowledged us. I approached the counter and they told me we could sit wherever we wanted. After the servers walked by us multiple times, I went up to get a menu from the counter and confirmed that I didn’t need to order from them. The servers continued to walk past us. I approached one of the servers and she assured me that someone would be with us shortly. I then watched them take orders for people that arrived after us. After waiting 20 minutes, we left. We were never even offered drinks.

Pizza is not bad, I've def had worse. It's mid. Dough and sauce aren't bad but aren't great neither. Wings are decent but won't blow your socks off. What really turned me off was the added 15% gratuity on my take-out order!! What is that?? Why am I tipping on a take-out order??

I ordered a large pizza 1/2 Cheese Steak, and the other 1/2 Mushroom. I always check it because they messed it up before. It was all Cheese Steak pizza with Mushrooms on the entire pizza. They told me they would make it over and it would take 15 minutes. I came back in 15 minutes and it was ready to go. I looked at it, it looked right. When I got home in good lighting I could tell all they did was pick up all the Mushrooms and put them on 1/2 of the Pizza. They didn't even make a new pizza.

Ordered online for one turkey sub and when I got home I received some sort of Italian sub? How hard is it to make a turkey sub??? When I called, I was given a poor excuse about giving me a refund. Doubt I will get my money+tip back. Pretty pathetic how I should have had to check the bag…bunch of college kids who couldn’t care less. Definitely won’t be back- This place needs to be replaced with something that will benefit Georgetown!!

Tonight, my husband and I tried a new place—Pizza King—completely on a whim. We had no idea it even existed until we walked out of Walmart, got in the car, and I happened to glance across the shopping center. I saw the sign and said, “Let’s give that place a shot!”

From the outside, it’s easy to miss, but once we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The decor matched the vibe: super relaxed, a little cozy, and clearly a place where people come to unwind. Patrons were chatting with each other across tables—it had that small-town, family-friendly energy that I love.

There was a seat yourself sign up front, though a waitress moved it as we walked in. I wasn’t sure what that meant anymore, so I asked and she let us know that we could sit at any table, just not the booths (totally fine!). She even brought over a high chair for our little one right away, though we quickly found out it was broken—thankfully, there was another nearby that worked.

The menu is surprisingly affordable, especially considering how good the food was. I ordered the Crabby Flatbread—basically a crab dip spread over flatbread with Chesapeake seasoning—for only $10.99. It was so good. I also got a $2.50 side salad, which came in a teeny tiny bowl—so small that there was no way to add dressing without it overflowing. I ended up dumping it into my food basket to make it work. (They meant “side salad” in the most literal way. 😂👌🏼)

The kids’ menu was great too—tons of options, and the first place I’ve seen that actually offers Goldfish crackers as a side. Genius.

Now for the only downside: service was slow. There were only two servers working the entire (pretty packed) restaurant, and it definitely showed. That said, our waitress was sweet, bubbly, and kept a great attitude the whole time. She really made the experience better just by being kind and checking in with us when she could. We had to wait a while for the check and box at the end, and our 16-month-old was definitely done by that point (cue the screeches), but we made it through.

Heads up: you pay at the register, not at your table.

All in all, it was a really chill spot with better food than expected and a kind staff doing their best under pressure. I’d go back—maybe just not when the place is slammed.

Let me set the scene. I walked into Pizza King expecting a good meal. What I got was a life-altering experience that transcended time, space, and the very limits of culinary excellence.

The moment I entered, the air smelled like dreams, melted cheese, and destiny. And then—she appeared. Abby. Not just a server. Not just an employee. No, dear reader. Abby was an experience. A radiant, pizza-slinging goddess of hospitality whose mere presence could calm storms and cure Monday blues.

From the first moment she greeted our table, it was clear: this woman was born to serve… legendary vibes. Her smile? Brighter than a thousand suns. Her knowledge of the menu? Encyclopedic. Her timing? Impeccable—like she could see into the future and knew the exact moment my soul needed another breadstick.

The pizza? Divine. The crust was crisped to golden perfection, cheese flowing like molten velvet, toppings as fresh as a spring morning. Each bite felt like being hugged by an Italian grandmother you never knew you needed. But even the ambrosia of Pizza King pales in comparison to the shining star that is Abby.

She didn’t just refill my drink—she refilled my faith in humanity. She didn’t just check on us—she checked in with our souls. When she brought extra ranch without us asking, an angel earned its wings.

Abby isn’t just the best server at Pizza King. Abby might be the best human to ever wear an apron.

If you’re not dining at Pizza King under the benevolent care of Queen Abby, you’re not really living. 12/10. Nobel Peace Prize nominee worthy. Someone build this woman a statue.
