Usually love this place. Three dined for lunch. 2 soups came out ahead of an order of wings. Soups were half finished before the wings arrived. Entrees arrived while guest was still eating the wings. Server was asked if he or the kitchen was in a hurry.Coffee arrived after the dessert. Entire meal felt hurried and server seemed rushed.

Really good food BUT,,, it was 4pm, place was empty, 2 tables including us, were not able to get a booth - staff said reserved, but restaurant empty during our entire meal. They were quite adamant about this, which all of us found to be quite rude and insulting no matter how good the food. I am jus' sayin.
I hadn't been to the Back Burner for lunch in a while. Glad I went. It was perfect. I like the menu which, for example, allows one to order a small or a large salad. Our server's lovely smile and attitude was a pleasure too.

The menu is very good with many delicious sounding dishes. If I were able, I would have tried a variety more.The prices can be a good value for smaller items but main entrees are a bit pricey. Whatever the cost, the food is consistently very good.

Great place for a leisurely lunch. The menu is very eclectic and has something for everyone. The wait staff is very good and helpful. There is an extensive wine and cocktail selection available. We will definitely be back in future.

Had a late lunch and it was an enjoyable experience! Loved the hademade chips and my burger was great. The atmosphere is open and inviting.

There was a small, flimsy paper specials menu (one placed on top of my menu). No explanation from servers or on the menu that these items REPLACED the same proteins on the main menu. Both my wife and I selected from the main menu and only then found out our protein dishes were only available from the specials. I went with the special (duck) but requested substitution of starch. My wife's second choice was again replaced by the specials. This was confusing to the point of stupid and spoiled the occasion. Both our dishes tasted good but the starch was too cold. DISAPPOINTED!
Service was slow. Bar was noisy. The temperature in the restaurant was freezing cold. They did have the dish I ordered so they decided to just give me a different random dish from the menu. Overall the food was good.

Always fabulous to dine in this cozy, romantic restaurant. Menu and food is presented picture perfect and tastes wonderful. Steaks are prepared as requested. Appetizers are not shrinking per the price point which is refreshing. Save room to share dessert!!

This was our first time to the Back Burner . The service was great and the food was delicious. The price for the food was good. The only thing I would say is the dining room chairs are very uncomfortable. Maybe put a pad down on the chairs.

We had a delicious meal. We started with a calamari appetizer, then entrees of salmon and shrimp and grits. The apple caramel whiskey bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was outstanding! Our server was excellent.
