Great restaurant is Hockessin! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Los hablantes de inglés y español son bienvenidos aquí. English and Spanish speakers welcome. The restaurant is quaint and well-lit. Great for small or medium sized parties. Larger parties may struggle to find seating unless they provide good notice before the day. Highly recommend checking this place out for authentic Latin and meximerican favorites.

There are two Mexican Restaurants in the Hockessin Delaware area that can be rated #1. One of them is Mexican Table.

Mexican restaurants have come and gone. I hear Mexican Table has been here for a while.

I don't know why I've not been here before!!!

Service was great! Atmosphere was packed and energetic ~ I think there were four birthdays!

Now the food... the guacamole was FRESH, the chips had just enough salt and my dinner... was DELICIOUS! A dish I'd not heard of before (and two days later don't remember the name) chicken rolled with diced ham, spinach, cheese and oh so good mole sauce ~ outstanding! I'll absolutely go back! Too bad it's not closer to home for me! Yum! 👍🏻

First time visiting this restaurant. Ample parking, bar with takeout option and they're expanding the place. The decor was traditional with tables and booths. We were served chips and salsa, then we reviewed the menu. I was very impressed with the options. The menu featured duck confit, poblano soup and creme brulee. I immediately knew the chef had extensive cooking experience. We started with guacamole (very fresh) and moved on to ordering the Poblano soup(this was light, creamy, slightly sweet from the corn and delicious). Then we had the Veracruz Catfish (not Tilapia which I do not like) it was perfectly seared topped with sweet peppers, capers and olives served with flavorful rice and and sliced avocado. It was perfect. I ordered a side of black beans and they were cooked perfectly. We finished dinner with Creme Brulee (OMG) IT WAS DELICIOUS! This restaurant did not disappoint. I can't remember a time eating my entire meal with no leftovers to take home. I can not wait to go back. This is a hidden gem!

Chile En Nagoda- try it! Unique and delicious.

Also:
Duck confit tacos with caramelized apples, fantastic black-bean-mango salsa

Enchilada poblanos (awesome mole sauce)

This is one of our favorite restaurants, many different choices, and good specials.

My husband and I went there last week for the first time. I had the steak fajita bowl and he had chicken fajitas. We enjoyed both and we will be back again. The server was nice. Definitely a cute date night spot.

Love this place! The staff is the best and every dish we have tried has been awesome. The rice is moist and flavorful, refried beans are my favorite and you HAVE to try the guacamole. The drinks are balanced and taste so good.

Their website menu says el gran burrito, chicken is $13. I show up and they want $19. The meal, which is absolutely not edible with hands, contains no cutlery. I will not be back.

Went in with high expectations. The hostess was having a bad day so it wasn’t a warm welcome. The food was flavorless - perhaps accommodating local tastes? Corn wasn’t warm and would have tasted much better if it were.

Loved the food. While some dishes were more traditional on the menu, others had a more creative flair. I had chicken soft tacos- full of flavor. It came with beans and queso. My friend had a chile en nogada- a poblano pepper stuffed with pork and beef, dried fruits and nuts and a cream sauce- she loved it. We had a simple homemade fresh peach and blueberry pie which was perfect. Didn’t want to review because I still want to get a table! Service was excellent. A great find and experience.
