We love eating here. We are always greeted very well and have never been rushed to eat. The waiters are pleasant and are constantly checking on you. The food is delicious and never fails with flavor. We tried the 3 leches dessert and it was perfect, not too sweet. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends.
Mexican Table is a staple of Hockessin ! We love this family run restaurant and come here almost once a week! Lidia, the owner / hostess is very sweet and always making sure we enjoyed our meal. The staple menu is delicious but the specials are favorite, both creative and tasty! Try the stuffed poblano pepper, the duck carnitas, or the elote!

The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive, Lydia, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure we’re taken care of, even when we don’t have a reservation. Lydia’s dedication to her guests is truly remarkable. Mauricio at the bar is always happy to see you! His enthusiasm and friendly nature make the bar a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.
And of course, the food is phenomenal! The quality is consistently top-notch, with authentic flavors that make every dish a perfect. Whether it’s a family dinner or a casual night out, this restaurant never disappoints. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!
This place is amazing as Mexican they are one of the few places where one can say that the food is really authentic the service is really friendly The only detail is the manager of the establishment, a person who can convey a lot of emotions to you, tries to be friendly with customers but with her employees she leaves a lot to be desired, she calls them out in front of customers and instead of helping she does things in a hurry all the time. time is stressed and that generates stress for the clients themselves There is a big difference between being a boss and being a leader. More than anything, this is constructive criticism for this person to work on their emotions and leadership.

I have been to this restaurant twice, and I love it. Each time the wait was 5 minutes at the most. I've been very disappointed by local Mexican restaurants because to me, their food just lacked so much. Meats were tough, and the meals tasted like they were made a week ago. Mexican table nailed it both times. Their food is always well prepared, and tastes fresh. When you are in the mood for Authentic Mexican cuisine, try this little gem. I will be back...

Excellent food and service! We came yesterday and enjoyed the delicious guacamole, taco salad, and enchiladas. Everything we ordered was yummy and we finished it all. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back.

When we walked in there was nobody at the front counter. We waited 5 minutes or more to be greeted. The hostess asked us how many? We replied 3. She then asked if we had a reservation. We walked in about 7:15 or 7:30 and by that time they were only 1/2 full and it only got more sparse as the evening went on. The waiter brought us chips and salsa after only 5 minutes or so seated. It appeared as though they had changed brands of both. These new chips were thick and a bit tough, not thin and crispy. The salsa was bland, much like pureed tomatoes with no chunks of vegetables and had very little flavor. We each ordered enchiladas, one of us ordered them with green sauce, the other with red sauce and I ordered mole sauce. When our order came there were 2 with red sauce and one mole. When we mentioned it the waiter apologized and broght a bowl of green sauce. The two orders with red sauce were very dry. They looked as though they had been pre made and refrigerated for a lengthy time, thus drying them out. The order with mole was good. The drinks had very little ice floating on top and were only 2/3 full when brought to the table. Refills were not full either. Had this been our first visit to Mexican Table it would be our last!! But since we have been there many, many times my hope is that this review will assist the owners in improving their, greeting, drinks, chips, salsa, service and enchilada quality!!

The food was very good. I got the duck enchiladas and the only complaint about that is it did not need the nuts on top. It added a very unpleasant texture when chewing a soft empanada with a almost rubbery half baked nut.
