I’ve been coming here for a very long time and it’s hands down the best sushi in the area.

I’ve been going here ever since I was young and never have I had a bad day. The owners are the sweetest people you will meet and always make sure you are taken care of. Personal favorite here has to be their chicken teriyaki with sticky rice. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing, easy to get lost in conversations while you eat the amazing food.

NYE 2023 Our seating was second row from the entrance and we got blasted with frigid air each time the door opened. Apparently, there was no heat in the place. I ate with my coat on. Our main course took uncomfortably long (25+ minutes )when the table beside us had come and gone long after we ordered. The server explained the kitchen was putting out many special party platters for pick up. We were served what was described to us as a "Clam" on our deluxe platter which had a dense rubbery consistency, an appearance of a tongue. Inedible. For our inconvenience, the management sent over a complimentary dessert which was a half slice of a green gelatin pie which could be described as a gummy. The fork bounced back when an attempt was made to try it. Talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth, that might have been the last time I ever eat sushi again, that's how bad it was.

Sushi roll was honestly nasty and the fried rice was mushy and tasted microwaved… not sure how the other reviews ended up here, but definitely will never be going back.

I've always heard good things about this place. Tried getting take out there for the first time tonight and was extremely disappointed... I am a sushi lover, but the two rolls I ordered were absolutely terrible! The shrimp tempura was way over cooked, borderline burnt, and the spicy mayo sauce was more like pure drizzled mayonnaise... The teriyaki chicken was watery and very bland. I will never eat there again. Beware! They must have paid people to leave positive reviews.

I don't know if I can recommend this restaurant yet. They got our order wrong. We ordered salmon roe, but got salmon instead. Of course the roe cost more. I bet they were out of the salmon roe and just substituted, but of course I was not told and the roe I paid for cost more. The sea urchin roe was almost tasteless. Not sure how that happened. Previously frozen maybe? I honestly dont know.Apparently I am supposed to eat my miso soup with chop sticks some how because no spoon was included, but they did give us 2 sets of chop sticks. They place was relatively slow this evening in my opinion, so I don't know what happened. The gyoza were the smallest dumplings I have ever seen. They were a bit bland too, but at least they were not overpowered by onion like some other places. The miso soup was a bit bland too. It had mushrooms in it, which is a bit unusual, but that didn't help the general wateriness it had in general. However, everything else I did get was fresh and flavorful, so I had to give 2 stars overall.I am not writing the place off all together and would like to try them again, but I will be thoroughly checking my order before I leave next time. I don't think I will be ordering the sea urchin roe or gyoza again though. Finally, they don't have delivery. Google says that they do, but when I called, they said they do not. Not sure if this is a Google error or what, so I give that a pass.

Went here as a date and now my boyfriend and I come at-least twice a week. The people are amazing and so sweet. The food is amazing. Honestly I don’t know what is better the people or the food. I am more of a sushi person and there are alot of rolls that are very unique. I will always go with a k3 roll but every time we go we get a new roll to try bc they sound all so good. They have never disappoint. Fridays do get busy but it’s worth the wait.

Tried this place for the first time today and it was amazing. We are new to the area and were doubting the availability of good sushi out here. We were wrong! They have a huge variety of sushi rolls (and a lot of other stuff as well) and everything we tried was amazing. Everyone was friendly, service was fast. We are excited to go back. Go support these folks, they deserve it.

Comfortable atmosphere, great experience, good food.I like to try new foods, but never got around to sushi or Japanese food.I was fortunate to sit at the bar in front of the chef who gave me excellent recommendations. I can't name what I ate, but it was very good. The Miso soup was just not for me, I'm a spice guy, so the Miso came across bland. My entree was very good, the sauce was great, I love fresh ginger.I'm by no means a sushi expert, but to me, it was excellent and I will absolutely go back to try something different.

It's my favorite place to eat! The owners are awesome, and the staff are accommodating. Sushi is always fresh, and kitchen food is top-notch.

Very friendly staff. I ordered Omakase.. but the didn’t have one so they gave me chefs choice. Toro was good but you can get about 10x the tuna at only double the price at Gugu in Kennett. Got some other sushi, good but wasn’t as fresh smelling/tasting as I am used to.Got a lobster dish with either ground beef or pork, was hard to tell. Good quality lobster, I like the way they cooked it, but quite greasy.Friendly restaurant for locals, a little bit outdated and front entrance needs some polish.Decent food but not sure what all the rage is about.
