If I could give zero stars, I would. This is my second, and worse, Papa John’s experience. I asked for well done (meaning cooked crust) pizza and what I got was a BURNT pizza. When I called to see if they could take it back and make me a new one, the store manager said, “oh, ya. If you can bring it back, I can check and see if it’s burnt. If it is, I will then make you a new one.” I was so upset that I hung up. I called back because I missed his name and the associate that picked up the phone- whose name was DJ - said, “I can give you my name but I cannot give you the managers name. I’M NOT ALLOWED TO.” Really? What business associate is not allowed to connect a customer to the manager? This is the last time ANY papa John’s gets my business! I sincerely hope that they are on their way to saying “All locations closing soon”
Bad location
Worse service
The pizza was overcooked, very thin (was not thin pizza) and nearly inedible.

The staff have stepped up their game regarding friendliness, and the way they make their food. I’ve definitely noticed a change in my orders in the last few weeks. I usually place for Carry out and they don’t usually ask my name, but when I go in they try to greet me quicker than I’ve been greeted in the past.

They didn’t get their delivery of green peppers, so they just made my 1-topping pizza without toppings and the Philly cheesesteak without any green peppers.
I got a call asking what ingredient i’d like instead on my specialty pizza since they were out of green peppers. What are you going to sub on a Philly cheesesteak though? I could’ve canceled the order but would have had to wait 2 days to use my rewards/ couldn’t just change the order, and I was told because they had already made the cheesesteak pizza with everything but the topping they were missing I wasn’t able to switch it to another specialty pizza. Excuse me? So you can’t make my order, but you started making it anyway?
Seriously though, I worked in food service for years, GO TO ACME and BUY GREEN PEPPERS. Maybe they’d have to close for a few minutes, but it’s literally within a minute walking distance.
I don’t know what’s going on at this location, but when I arrived up to pick up my order there was no to be seen. I called out several times for several minutes, even started to worry. Another customer also came in during this time. She was equally confused. After some more time a single worker came up from the back with a blank stare on his face. He handed me my order and I left. I didn’t realize until I got home that he had made me a cheese pizza instead of replacing the ingredient they were out of. The food tasted OK at least.

I’ve been going to this Papa John’s for almost 20 years. I look back at this place with (at least what used to be) very fond memories. Even though I haven’t been back in 2 years, I ordered with confidence knowing I was going to get a half decent pizza. Instead, what I received was the most bogus pizza of all time. The toppings were splattered unevenly on the pie as if a 5th grader assembled the pizza. Barely any tomato sauce on the pie either. It just tasted bad overall. For $20 I expect at least a half decent pie. You’d have to pay me $20 to eat this again. Sad to see what was once a respectable Papa John’s go downhill like this.

The last time I ordered here I assumed it was business as usual. I was unaware that they rely solely on DoorDash for deliveries. This means a third party brings you your food, which papa John’s cleans their hands of the product before you receive it.When I order a late night pizza it means I’m already starving. It took 2 hours and 11 minutes to get my food and by then I didn’t even want it, called 3 times to cancel and even was told by corporate that this stores manager hung up ON THEM trying to resolve this.Door dash has recently posted that drivers may not take orders that don’t show tips. That’s not how tips work, fast deliveries get $20 cash from me. If they don’t see a credit card tip and opt to not taken my order, they’re missing out, and if it’s 2 hours it’s definitely 0.Don’t waste your time with this place.

The Manager Tuesday night at 10:00pm was extremely rude. I have been a regular and loved this location since 2021. However, as a result of my interactions tonight I will not return.

Too much sugar in the sauce
The worst customer service I ever experienced! I simply ordered one large pepperoni pizza. The store was quiet, only 2 orders up. After a long day of work, school and practice. It was late, my daughter was so hungry she snuck a piece on the way home. We unload the car and open the box…. No pepperoni at all!I called the store to and was told there is nothing they can do because they “remembered” putting pepperoni. They would not remake it or credit it.Since they couldn’t remember it or do anything I got back in the car and took the pizza back. I said maybe you could put the pepperoni I paid for on the pizza I paid for? The 2 employees were eager to prove me wrong bur in the end i watched them put 25 cents worth of pepperoni on the pizza i had paid for 1/2 hour earlier. No apology, no customer service. If you’re hoping for Papa John’s pizza DO NOT go to the Lantana Square location.
