I’ve been going to this Papa John’s for almost 20 years. I look back at this place with (at least what used to be) very fond memories. Even though I haven’t been back in 2 years, I ordered with confidence knowing I was going to get a half decent pizza. Instead, what I received was the most bogus pizza of all time. The toppings were splattered unevenly on the pie as if a 5th grader assembled the pizza. Barely any tomato sauce on the pie either. It just tasted bad overall. For $20 I expect at least a half decent pie. You’d have to pay me $20 to eat this again. Sad to see what was once a respectable Papa John’s go downhill like this.

The last time I ordered here I assumed it was business as usual. I was unaware that they rely solely on DoorDash for deliveries.This means a third party brings you your food, which papa John’s cleans their hands of the product before you receive it.When I order a late night pizza it means I’m already starving. It took 2 hours and 11 minutes to get my food and by then I didn’t even want it, called 3 times to cancel and even was told by corporate that this stores manager hung up ON THEM trying to resolve this.Door dash has recently posted that drivers may not take orders that don’t show tips. That’s not how tips work, fast deliveries get $20 cash from me. If they don’t see a credit card tip and opt to not taken my order, they’re missing out, and if it’s 2 hours it’s definitely 0.Don’t waste your time with this place.

The worst customer service I ever experienced! I simply ordered one large pepperoni pizza. The store was quiet, only 2 orders up. After a long day of work, school and practice. It was late, my daughter was so hungry she snuck a piece on the way home. We unload the car and open the box…. No pepperoni at all!I called the store to and was told there is nothing they can do because they “remembered” putting pepperoni. They would not remake it or credit it.Since they couldn’t remember it or do anything I got back in the car and took the pizza back. I said maybe you could put the pepperoni I paid for on the pizza I paid for? The 2 employees were eager to prove me wrong bur in the end i watched them put 25 cents worth of pepperoni on the pizza i had paid for 1/2 hour earlier. No apology, no customer service. If you’re hoping for Papa John’s pizza DO NOT go to the Lantana Square location.

They say they deliver in a 5 mile radius. We live 4.6 miles. I called to place an order, but the number on the website doesn’t go directly to the Papa John’s in Hockessin, she had to transfer me because she said we were outside the radius when we aren’t They never picked up. She said if they don’t call back and press 5. I did that 3 times and they never picked up. I guess they don’t want the business.

Think these kids behind the counter are stoned. And between Papa John's corporate and this local franchisee I'm not sure who's worse. A few times I got ingredients on my order that don't exist on the item. Placed an order for my "quality guarantee" was told 2 hours for delivery and that was ok. Until it never showed up and never got a call. Still a charge on the credit card, it was "my fault" I didn't want to pick up. I'm just done with this store.

I want to give zero star for this store.may/ 13 /22 9pm. I ordered two pizza and soda. they delivered wrong house and no refund my money back that day.i called them one lady name suzy or Susie whatever.... she said that she is the manager of store and she will give me refund and NEXT TIME free pizza WHEN YOU call our STORE. haha.... two days later i check my card statement. they didn't refund my money back.so i called again. same lady answer the phone and she said " only i can give you free pizza …. WHAT ? what do you mean " FREE PIZZA" I paid money(NO REFUND) and you didn't deliver . what A Scam business .....she handed over the phone to another lady that introduce herself store general manager name Daniel. (by the way, how many manager do you guys have?) she was worst . she was very rude to mehere is reason1. she has to apology to customer when this kind of happen (politely)2.she cut it when customer complaint what is the problems3. she was only depend her employee's fault . she doesn't care valuable customer.4.she threaten customer about refund money back like this...." i don't give you money back if you raise your voice and call my employee liar...etc"5. i asked her full name . she said i wont tell you . it's personal information. WHAT? did i asked your phone number? you have to tell your name to customer when they ask if you are general manager of store6. she raised voice to customer and yelled to customer and hang up on customerWOW.....UNBELIVERERBLE PAPA JONES.EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEEI paid and ordered pizza ..... people can mistake... they can deliver to wrong house.... after that their response was horrible.i dont speak english very well. but i have to write down here something . she might be under estimate me because i dont speak english very well ... that was why she hang up on me so rudely....NO MORE PAPA JONES IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!

This location is unbelievable they have impressed me with every delivery always on time and hottthrvresident culinary expertise an expert in her field of hospitality and Italian food I love herruscan rice soup always available and cheese steaks with an order of those awesome or fries every time I i call talk to friendly people who are always professional and courteous they always get my order correct and sent out quickly I have ordered from this location At least once a week over the past year and a half I've got to know each employees voice over the phone and even become friendly with the proprietor she is super sweet and friendly I've made new friends here in Hockessin Yiu can too these guys are really good at there jobs I'm sure you'll be impressed love pats pizza

Had the wrong pizza made, apparently when you call in you don't speak to them directly it goes through a call center that sends the order in, they could not understand me I guess that's why my pizza was wrong.
