I have been going to this Rita’s for as long as I can remember. The quality and available options always far exceed my expectations. The service is always incredible, which is why it is so upsetting that I can’t leave electronic tips. People rarely carry cash nowadays and other Ritas I go to always have the option for electronic tips. I’d like to see this change in the future.
Gave Rita’s a try today and it is AWESOME! Amazing Italian Ice and Custard (had booth - whoops). Would have given a five star review but I couldn’t leave a tip with my credit card.
Ironically, I just read another review that echoed my own frustration at this Rita’s. A few weeks ago, I brought my daughter’s softball team for a postgame treat and was shocked to learn that an option to tip with a credit card doesn’t exist. Glad to know I’m not the only person who thinks this is a bad idea. After receiving such great service, I was embarrassed when I couldn’t leave a tip and had to apologize to the nice girl who gave us such great service. C’mon...
