Absolutely the Best Dining in HOCKESSIN! William and Merry meet you at the door. Marian is incredible at the bar. Food is presented beautifully and taste as good as it looks. Service is done perfectly with a smile!

Every aspect of a food experience was beyond expectation. I highly recommend this restaurant and particularly if you're a foodie.

William and Merry is a nice restaurant that features a good variety of individual meal with seasonal farm to table food. The service was great and our server Maggie was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

This was an incredible dining experience for my birthday with my family. The cocktails were so much fun and we enjoyed the different house specialities. Everything from the appetizers to dinner was simply delicious! I had the fish special and it was out of this world! The presentation of the meals were spectacular and loved the morel mushrooms. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful! One of our favorite places anywhere.

Their dishes offer the elusive ability to provided a constructed dish whose flavors can be deconstructed and reconstructed depending g how you mix and match the ingredients in each bite. Amazing!

Truly exceptional experience. Our server was the perfect blend of friendly, knowledgeable and invisible (we were celebrating my Dads birthday). His recommendations were spot on, the food was incredible, timing and coursing was really well done and a tiny candle and a truffle were delivered with desserts which was a pitch perfect acknowledgement of our celebration. This is what restaurants should be. It was a really great experience beginning to end.

This is a great place for an upscale and special dinner. They specialize in unique preparations and elegant food. Duck is always on the menu and worth getting. I had the duck wings tonight and a few times… awesome. I had some Alaskan sablefish too which was perfect. The cheese board was good. The beef decile melted in your mouth. The passion fruit crème brûlée was best I ever had so flavorful.

This was an amazing meal and experience! First of all, I love that you walk up to this adorable house. It feels cozy already. The staff was so friendly and seated us right away, we had an AMAZING server who was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal, and helped me decide on what to order! I will be having sweet dreams about the Rib app, and I’ve never had such a tasty pork chop entree ever in my life! The mashed potatoes, bacon bits, sauce, EVERYTHING was extremely detailed and delicious. I was literally scraping the plates lol. Will be back for sure! The perfect date night spot!

My first visit to the House was fantastic! The dinner was exceptional, starting with several appetizers like the pork belly and the crab and shrimp hush puppies. For the main course, the duck was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

The service was excellent and very pleasant. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions with a smile. The food was excellent, well prepared and presentation was amazing.

Dinner at The House of William and Merry was part of a birthday gift for my wife from our kids. They couldn't have picked a better spot! Service from Emma was excellent and the food even better. We plan on returning when we are in that area again!

Everyone there is truly amazing. We arrived to find our usual table had just been vacated. They cleaned and reset it in just a couple of minutes so we could sit ther. John, the sole waiter, handles every table flawlessly. He's efficient, personable, and a real asset to the restaurant. And the food is superb. Hamachi tartare was perfect. The cheese plate was nicely arranged, but the single type of cheese wasn't terribly interesting. My fault; I prefer a more pungent cheese. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and came with a lovely sauce, Brussels sprouts and mash. Alaskan sablefish was beyond excellent, skin crackly and inside moist and delicious. It was accompanied by purple sweet potatoes and a heaveny sauce. Even the creme brulee was great, with hints of mango and passion fruit. And the chocolate truffle was divine. Bar service is excellent. I would only wish for an expanded wine list, especially by the glass as we often want different wines to accompany our meal. All in all, we love William & Merry.
