Food is always unique , creative and delicious. As most places these days the prices keep creeping up and sharing salads and desserts are the norm.

Absolutely incredible food and service. Our waiter was impeccable! We are regular guests for many years and we will continue to be in the future. Amazing Food , Amazing Service . Will always be returning ....Great job William & Merry

We were visiting the Wilmington area and decided to dine at The House of William and Merry because we heard that the chef had been a semifinalist for a James Beard award. We thought that the food was so good, that the chef should have won the award. The service was also excellent. The restaurant has a lively vibe.

Just had a great time taking my parents out to eat at House of William and Merry. The service was warm and welcoming from the time we came in to walking out the door, and the food was amazing. We had the duck leg and mushroom bisque apps. The venison entree was cooked perfectly and not gamey at all. The beefsteak and roasted tilefish were also delicious. Great time all around

This restaurant is a special event place for us. It's a little pricey for us but every visit is always memorable. The food is beautifully plated, the service is attentive without being intrusive and, on this occasion, dining on the porch was perfect. It remains at the top of our list for a predictably wonderful evening.

Hands down one of the best restaurants out there. Every dish is always perfect. One of my favorite places on earth.

Absolutely outstanding service, the wait staff was extremely well versed on the menu and attentive. The food was some of the best creations/combinations I've had in years. The drinks were strong, the atmosphere was great and the people were fantastic. If you're thinking about trying something new, put this at the top of your list. It's worth every penny.

Love this restaurant but it didn't rise to the level of its usual performance. All the dishes lacked balance in their flavors. Overall disappointing as we have high expectations here that were not met this evening.

Excellent food, drink and service. Noise so loud I could not hold a conversation with my wife sitting right across from me. Virtually no parking on site. Need to park in the park or across the street.

Great evening, leisurely time at William & Merry. We enjoyed our dinners from an eclectic menu. Excellent presentation and quality of our dinner, from Smash Burger, Gnoche and Shrimp, Duck Breast and an excellent dish of Soft Shell Crab. Our first course of Steak Tartare have a superb flavor. Dessert and a bit skimpy in selection and quanity of portion. Our server, Matty, was pleasant and professional while handling 6 tables and 15 diners. She was attentive and very accommodating.

I am a longtime fan of this restaurant and decided to take two of my friends who had never experienced it. You will always a little trepidation when you do that, fearing that the restaurant may have a bad night. Not so for the house of William and Mary, everything was excellent. Two of us had an exquisitely, complicated and delicate lamb appetizer that knocked our socks off. My other friend said her halibut was cooked to perfection. It delighted me that The House has two new fans.

Fantastic food and service! Waitress was exceptionally knowledgeable of the menu and drinks, and offered great recommendations and service. Plates were served warmed, and everything was cooked to perfection.

If you’re looking for somewhere special for an anniversary or want unique flavors and dishes, this is the place to go.

Quaint house, delicious flavorful food! Definitely recommend eating here and a reservation is a must. Dining area is small, but food is 5⭐️.
