Food was bland, not a good taste and we tried a few different items on 3 occasions. Each time, the food wasn't great. The orange crush was great, but the food was not impressive one bit. Service was amazing, very accommodating, but we will not have any food again. The kitchen needs to up their game. (Seriously) do better! One occasion the dirty banna tasted like vinegar. After mentioning it, the entire machine was emptied because it went bad. (That should have been checked before serving.)

I’m going to start this review by getting the flaws out of the way first. First of all, whoever plays the music at the beach bar over the loudspeakers needs to go. No one is interested in listening to Hall & Oats “You Make My Dreams” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” along with their entire albums on full-blast before the bands begin. In fact, it completely kills the whole experience. This is the 21st century we are currently living in; not 1980… Please stop…

Second, the bands are frequently 45+ mins late. There should be a disclaimer or an announcement on the PA system whenever this occurs (with an ETA) as the schedule is very specific on the facebook page. This has happened more than once.

Okay, now for the good stuff. So many wonderful things to say about Paradise Grill. Where to begin? The Palm Trees? I don’t know how they do it, but there are palm trees galore all over the restaurant with coconuts sticking out!! Amazing. Big round of applause to the production designer. The flounder fish sandwich and Nashville hot chicken tenders are delicious (served with way too many fries, but you’re getting your $ worth). Skip the nachos - the queso was served cold and there were not enough toppings. The beach bars are right out in the sand near the restaurant BEACHES with chairs to watch the sunsets!! Where the hell am I?? Los Angeles?? Clearwater??

The staff are very friendly. The bartenders work very hard and into the night while the bands play. There is also a play area where the kids can play as well as an ice cream shop, gift shop and marina where you can watch the boats pass by. I found it quite interesting that the friendliest of the bunch were the staff driving the shuttle buses from the parking area to the restaurant. If they see you pulling up, they will stop and wave you down so you’re not waiting too long. What wonderful people!!

I love Paradise Grill and can’t wait to return. It’s an unmissable environment you’d have to see to believe if you’re ever in Southern Delaware. The atmosphere is unbeatable as you would never expect a place like this to be in Millsboro, DE - which, in effect makes the so-so town quite famous.
