My breakfast was not good at all..looked nothing near as advertised but the taste is what concerned me ..(it didn't taste fresh and I didn't like the seasoning) I had the steak tips w/eggs and my plus 1 had the omelet with mushrooms and veggies which looked good presentation wise but it lacked taste. The sourdough bread was overly buttered perhaps to disguise that it was one shade away of being burnt. I did enjoy the service our waitress was attentive and quick..I wish I could say something positive about my food experience but I was extremely disappointed š..I will not return

I have had several issues with this Middletown Bob Evans screwing up my orders on numerous occasions but this review is in respect to an incident I had encountered. Upon arriving to pick up my order I noticed that the hot chocolate was missing. I approached the clerk at the counter and informed her of the missing item. Her reply, "we don't have it". I then replied, "I don't understand what that means, I ordered a hot chocolate". The clerk then replied, "what do you expect me to do, pull it out of my ass". She was completely out of line. Example of a proper response would have been: we had a complication with your order, I can offer you a refund or an alternative". With this incidence and Bob Evans screwing up simple kids breakfast orders repeatedly, I will not be going back here. Professionalism is EVERYTHING and if you engage in any choice of employment you do the job well or not at all, regardless of the occupation.

After multiple bad experiences including poor service, wrong order delivery and disappointing food years ago, I had given up even trying the Middletown location. Friends convinced me that the location changed and they solved those problems. I gave them another chance and was pleasantly surprised. My first visit back we had fantastic service with the correct orders being delivered hot and on time. Butā¦ my second visit back might be my last yet again when I learned that they donāt have real butter. How can you serve breakfast without real butter? No one wants some nasty yellow spread the melts in 3 different colors. It even tastes horrible! This is a national chain restaurant with fantastic banana nut bread that begs to be buttered. There are menu items listed as ābutteredā but no real butter in the building? You almost won back a local regular until this.

Our first visit to a Bob Evans restaurant for breakfast before our ride home to New Jersey. There were only two servers for the entire dining room. Our server was Tina, and TINA WAS ON TOP OF IT!!
Friendly, fast, and efficient, Tina handled her assigned tables with an efficiency of motion.
Breakfast was decidedly good and surpassed our expectations. We both had āThe Whole Hogā which we thought was a fantastic deal. It was a bit more than we could eat so we took the pancake and French Toast home with us.
Tina never lost track of us and kept our coffee filled as she checked in on us throughout our visit.
A fast, filling, and tasty breakfast with exceptional service (and some delicious sausage). We donāt have any Bob Evans near our home, but weāll be open to a visit when weāre on the road.
Maryjo is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, food was good, portions were large (could not finish my plate), good value for the prices

The service wasnāt terribleā¦ I will say it looked dead in there so the fact that my table wasnāt ready like they said it would be when I got there is kinda crazy. And no offense but idk how you come back to a table like 5 times and still Manage to mess up ordersā¦.

Parking: There's a lot of parking, you do not need to worry.
You can't beat the breakfast the wait is never really that long all of the waitresses are wonderful there

We were seated by the hostess at 12: 55 pm today ,27 May 2024. At 1:13 pm we still had not been acknowledged or even spoke to. At 1:14 pm we walked up to the hostess desk where the hostess and a server were talking, I told her about the wait and lack of service and we were leaving, she just said I'm sorry and went back to talking to the server as if we weren't even there. This is usually a good restaurant, but today they just didn't care. I guess this is the new normal.
