I recently placed a last minute catering order for a client across the state board in Maryland, and had THE BEST experience working with the Capriotti’s Middletown team. I confirmed my order with Anthony C., later speaking with Casey, one of the store managers, to see if we could coordinate an earlier delivery time than the online system allowed for catering delivery through DoorDash. They were both very kind, answering all of my questions, and making it possible to coordinate a timely delivery for this last minute catering delivery. While I do not do much business in this area, I would highly recommend them for similar catering for other businesses in the future. Thank you!

Ordered at 3:07 for cold subs. Told 15-20 mins. Arrived at that time. Then waited another 35 mins. Everyone looks miserable And customer service is horrible. Communication is non existent.. just the worst. Management is lacking big time. Will not be back to this location ever.

I like Capriotti’s subs. Most locations make really good subs. However, the quality and cleanliness at this location is questionable. The subs don’t taste as fresh. Last time I got a turkey sub here there were 2 hairs in different parts of the sub, gross! This location clearly needs a new manager to clean up shop. It’s clear from all of the negative reviews that they don’t care to do better, shame.

The drinks are flavorful and refreshing.
Grabbed a few sandwiches the other day, the Cole Turkey, the Bobbie and the classic Italian. All of the sandwiches were really good, plenty of meat. The turkey that goes on the turkey sandwiches aren't cold cuts. They include slow roasted hand pulled turkey. So the Bobbie really gave me the taste of a turkey sandwich the Friday after thanksgiving, very nostalgic. I'd go back for sure.

I'd like to take a minute to leave a very positive review of my recent experience at Capriotti's in Middletown, DE. I have been a Capriotti's customer long before the Middletown store opened over 20 years ago. When the Middletown store opened, the sandwiches were amazing. Everything was on par with every other location I had ever eaten at in Delaware. It's no secret that this location had gone downhill very fast when it's franchise was purchased back from corporate. The meat on the sandwiches were almost cut in half, lacked flavor, and prices increased. Although I communicated my complete dissatisfaction, wrote the company, filled out surveys from receipts - it fell on deaf ears. We went from eating there 3 to 4 times a week, to barely ever at all... There are now many more options in Middletown for a good sandwich, and Capriotti's basically failed to keep up. Although we would randomly try a sub or cheesesteak from this location occasionally, the result was almost always a fail. It was apparent, that during our random attempts at a good sandwich, the subs and steaks were always better when the regional manager, Kari (not sure how she spells her name), was present. I had not eaten at this location for months, and out of the blue, I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did - my cheesesteak was amazing! Perfect ratio of meat to the roll, generous amount of fried onions, and full of flavor. Service was exceptional, and the place was clean. It may be a coincidence that the regional manager was there during my recent visit, but I will be returning more often to give it another try...
Ordered a French dip sandwich and sandwich was cold and did not put the au ju dip with the sandwich that’s the whole purpose of that kind of sandwich is its supposed to come with the au ju it’s basically a cold cheesesteak if I wanted a cheesesteak I would have ordered one… my wife ordered a Bobbie and said the stuffing tasted very old and nasty she said it’s making her feel sick…will not be returning here again

I usually always have a good experience here but, I got food poisoning from a sandwich. This isn’t the first time with this location.
Horrible customer service, not sure who the make was however he was rude and I did not want that energy in my food so I cancelled my order. The manager witnessed it and did not correct him.
When I got a steak previously the oil was not drained and it was greasy and soggy! A misrepresentation of a Philly steak! I asked him to drain the grease and he responded he could not I told him I would show him and he told me he wasn't doing all of that!
So returning I shall not.

Always good!
Rarely make my order right. Ask for a Bobbie with no cranberry sauce and extra mayo. Got cranberry sauce and very little mayo. Previous time. I asked for a Bobbie and wanted it made again with no cranberry sauce and extra mayo. Got fresh turkey, cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Fresh turkey and mayo was the only thing right.
Visiting from Florida, Capriotti's was recommended as making great sandwiches, glad we went, a spot on recommendation!
