Crooked Hammock Brewery

This place has a nice ambience but they charge stupid money for Crapplebees level food. A small bowl of artichoke dip is $20 as are their small wings. Why is iced tea $4.25? Seriously.. It's water, ice, and tea. So 2 apps and 2 iced teas and you're in for $50. Middletown needs to settle down.. It's not NYC and the food sucks here.

Ate there yesterday afternoon with friends and the food was horrible. Cold sandwich, cold mac and cheese and potato fries. The only thing good about the meal was the side salad. I think you better start paying attention to your food quality instead of the decorations inside the restaurant. Hint Hint.

Anytime we visit Delaware, we make sure that we stop by this rustic restaurant. Food are outstanding with great taste. The service we received were always top-notch. Once inside the restaurant, you will feel at home amongst friends and your 4-legged buddies.

It's the perfect place to forget your troubles (kids) and obligations (child support) and just relax with an unwitting tinder date.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here in August. We used the Taproom/Screened-in Porch area which was perfect for our ~50 guests. Kim L (Event Coordinator) was so helpful getting our event all set up. Also, cannot forget Graham and Drew who did a fantastic job keeping our guests fed and happy with a drink in their hands. An extremely accommodating crew! The space was perfect and the menus availably for groups is great. Highly recommend for any large event.

Our son is stationed in Dover and had been here many times, so he was excited to bring us when we visited him. The outside of this brewery/restaurant is fun and inviting, and we found more of the same inside. There is ample seating inside and on the patio, and it was nice that the patio was open to the dining area so we could enjoy the live music playing outside. Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the bar & menu items, which helped us first-timers. Our order included the Cobb salad, steak skewers and a burger, and all were quite filling and delicious. We left satisfied with everything and will definitely return on future travels through this area.
