My husband I love First State Brewing! The food is so good and the beer….always good, many choices, unique choices/flavors!

Updating review. Food fell off, They ruined the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Beer is great but service was awful. Our waiter Jacob never checked in on us. Probably won’t be back to be honest.
If your looking for specialty beers it's a good place. The food is underwhelming and overpriced for bar food
Went for a casual date with my husband. Was seated and then ignored for 15 minutes while the bartenders chatted with each other making jokes and not attentive to anyone at the bar. I went to speak with the hostess who was young and she rolled her eyes at me and told me someone will eventually be over. We just walked out. It was NOT busy at this time and everyone was just goofing off. I tell this story regularly and everyone says the same thing, "the service there is really awful." They desperately need professional management.
Stopped by for the first time today, great food and beer. Tons on tap, and food is some of the best I’ve ever had at a brewery.
My favorite local brewery. Beers are great and food is always awesome.

& refreshing Berliner Weisse… sweet, sour and absolutely unforgettable festival fav! Also - First State’s staff was incredible!!!
I love the ambiance and choices for very good beers. The food is outstanding each and every time. Excellent burgers and wings. Everyone must try this place
