Korean BBQ Chicken sandwich is delicious!!!! Thai green beans were also great!

Great place to go grab food and drinks. Pretty extensive draft list for beer. They have board games available to play so you can also be there for multiple hours easily entertained.
They'll have live music occasionally and a big projection screen for viewing games.

Service was great. Attentive but not overly so. Blue Hen 2.0 sandwich is well prepared, not too saucy Buffalo chicken sandwich. Highly recommend!

Went to First State for the first time in a long time and was completely amazed at the service,the food,the beer and the atmosphere. The spin they put on the food is absolutely incredible and elevates it to the next level. The beer (Circle Theory) was great and this is from a die hard Budweiser fan. Most of all the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the bartenders (Connor and Dylan) were friendly helpful knowledgeable and could not have been nicer. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. Going to visit the one at the beach as well.

Delicious burgers and beer! Would have been 5 stars but my husband ordered a quesadilla very plain (no veggies) and it came with onions, apparently the chicken was prepared with onions and cannot be made without them. That detail was not on the menu but the manager was very nice and offered to make another dish, so the chicken fingers he got instead were still good. Service is always good as well.

This place has the best food and really really good beer. The staff is always friendly and the service is always great. Chef Aaron needs to have the title Master Chef Aaron, because that’s what he is. His specials he comes up with are always 10/10 he never misses! Even if you don’t like beer or drink, you need to stop in and try Master Chef Aaron’s food!!

Atmosphere is cool. Service was great and efficient! Food and drinks were FANTASTIC. A day in Middletown was made better by a visit to First State Brewing. Will definitely be back!!!

Awesome brewery! Stopped with 2 kids and they had a wonderful kids menu and so many options we couldn’t decided what to get. Dipping sauce flight is a must. Riley was our server and she was so helpful and knowledgeable.

The beer is edible at best. The food is not. Just go to the liquor store and get a six pack of your favorite beer and save yourself the headache.
