I have my usual expectations when it comes to the food, but today set the bar.My mother and I ordered a berry salad with NO meat; our waiter acknowledged our request (and even repeated the order back to us) yet, the salad came with fried chicken and bacon bits on top. We sent it back for correction, and they brought the same salad back out, with bacon remnants on top (as if we wouldn’t notice)… The manager offered to remake the salad entirely once we mentioned we wanted it taken off the bill.As I’m eating the NEW salad, I find a misplaced chocolate chip. We couldn’t help but laugh, but seriously, WHAT and WHY?! ?

Food was good,,but took over 45 minutes from the time we got a table till we got our food,,kitchen is VERY SLOW,,,hardly any one here and yet took this long,,,I can see why they are not busy,,,

Nasty food. Avoid Fisherman's Platter Undercooked. I asked for mashed potatoes (hockey Puck) just all around bad food. Service great.Won't make it in Middletown.Breakfast omelets just as bad.Avois fishermana

By far the worst experience I have ever endured with my family at any of the ihop chains over the years. The menu items falsely advertise how food is supposed to look and when it arrives doesn’t compare. I mentioned to the manager that the new menu items we ordered (which was not ate) was not what it looked like nor was it appetizing. Bro (who is the so-called manager) just looked at me and admittedly said “yea the grease and the chicken at this location isn’t the same”. So rather than comping the meal we paid $70 for something we didn’t eat. So he didn’t want to comp and I didn’t tip. Fair exchange., right? I made sure to run to the reviews and voice my discontent. I will NEVER patronize this location again. I should have known something was up when on a Sunday it was completely desolate! That was the first red flag. Shame on me I also didn’t read the reviews beforehand. It’s all good tho. I will be reaching out to corporate.

My waffle combo came out like it was a 3 course meal instead of all at once. Coffee took 15 minutes to come out. If it was slammed I get it. But for a Saturday morning it wasn’t even remotely busy. I honestly would rather go hungry than to come here again. Don’t waste your time coming here. The food was subpar. The service was even worse. The food runners had more people skills than our server. Go across the street and get yourself a McGriddle instead of wasting your time and money here.

Quite possibly the worse experience I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. It was comical. We arrived at 11am and didn’t get our food until 12:30. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Several tables up and left due to the delay. When we eventually got our food, after complaining several times, it came out looking like an elementary school project. We literally laughed. My daughters waffle was like a hockey puck with a broken Oreo on top. My entire family got there food and I had to wait for a further 15 mins for my pancakes which eventually came out and was the wrong order. I decided to keep the plain stack of pancakes with a blob of butter on top and asked for some syrup, which took another 10 mins to receive. This is no joke. Felt like I was being pranked. These kids were not over worked, it wasn’t busy, they just had no guidance. Awful awful place. IHOP could give me a free year of meals and I still wouldn’t return.

The shopping center location is a bit obtuse, but upon entering, we saw a clean and well-prepared seating area. We were greeted immediately by a friendly employee, who escorted us to our booth. Nicole, our server, was there almost immediately taking our drink order. She returned promptly with our beverages, and took our very custom food order. Nicole returned just a few minutes later bearing our accurate, hot, and delicious breakfast, and she returned several times to check on us. After paying the very fair bill, Nicole wished us a good day. For us, this was an exceptional experience, and we will return happily.
