I went here today for the first time boy oh boy was so worth it the chef definitely put his foot and elbows in that oxtail platter the cashier she was super awesome this place has a warm and welcoming vibe if u need sea moss they have that to I will definitely be back

This place is Horrible!!!! I got COLD FOOD! really SMALL portion! Omg. Update: the @owner called my phone within 15 minutes of me making my review to argue with me and over talk me about how great the food is and basically accusing me of not being honest about the food being COLD! We yelled at each other until I hung up the phone! I have NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED ANYTHING SO WEIRD! please DO NOT go to this event place for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Thank me later! Pray for them instead!

BEWARE if you order from here;
You will get COLD food. And the servers will intentionally give you small portions. Don’t be fooled by the pretty decorations; you’ll be wasting your money. OH AND FYI the servers do not wear gloves.( so imagine what’s going into your food). I WONT be back.

I am livid and completely disappointed with my experience with this establishment. I saw it while out this evening and saw it was empty, but I figured I'd head home and drop off my items and order. By the time we got home and ordered, it was 2.5 hours before closing, and by the looks of things, I wouldn't have encountered what I did this evening. I arrived shortly before 8 pm. we even gave them a little extra time past the time the food was scheduled to be done, which was already 45 mins. I gave 55... not only did they not have my order ready, but the gentleman said he just saw it when he was asked for it for takeout. He, with attitude, said they were out of everything and refunded my money... I then received half an email with no explanation why they couldn't service my my order, approximately 15mins after leaving. Now it's valentines Day, and they were NOT busy 3 hours prior to close nor when we went to pickup. With that being said I will NEVER dine here, idc how many people ever say their food is good idc if it was top rated and on TV and I typically am ordering for 5 people and spend double this without a tip added and we order out 2 to 3 times a week and have lived in Middletown for 20 years and love to support new local businesses. We normally order from places we love several times a month... you lost our business along with friends and family members again. We have lived here for 20 years and our relatives are even longer. DO BETTER if you want to stay in business around here!

I ordered oxtail dinner and there were no meat, just gristle. Mind you this is over $20 meal. Came back ordered curry goat. There was no gravy on the meat. Please do better!

1st time ordering there and had very bad experience. Business look close( I had call the bear location) my food was not ready, I wanted to get some patties , not on kiosk and plus I have to spend 10 dollars minimum, did not offer extras for the inconvenience, and to finish one of the order was wrong. Not a big fan of the rice but the chicken was good.

Not many food places do I give 5 stars across the board I visited this location for a networking event, the food was delicious (curry chicken, rice & bean, cabbage also had party wings ) the banquet room was bigger than what I expected nicely lit i will definitely be back again.

Oxtails did not have any gravy whatsoever! The sweet yams were plain (no brown sugar, cinnamon, flavored extract, nor butter). This was my first and last time.
