Now all the 5 stars are lying aint no way!! This was the worst Jamaican food I had ever, I got oxtails, cabbage, and tice. It had no gravy, everything was dry and had no taste/seasonings. Make matters worse I’m fasting so I choose to eat from here. Worst decision and I’m hungry not to mention it was $29 wasted. I give them 000000 stars!

Tried this place last week in order to finally see if this was good jerk chicken and sadly I didn’t eat much of it. I ordered the spicy jerk sauce and it tasted like bbq sauce and grape jelly mixed it was terrible and the meat was dry. I will not be back :)

This is the only real Jamaican restaurant in the area. The food is tasty with a full rich flavor. I’m Jamaican and I cook. Time and care is put into the quality and flavor of the food. Every restaurant may have its moments where something isn’t perfect. In comparison to other choices, this restaurant is my only go to for real island home cooking when I don’t feel like cooking.

Been a Middletown resident for 6 years now and let me tell you, when this place first opened up - it was amazing! You could taste the passion in every bite! Fast forward 3 months - it all went DOWN HILL, food, service, atmosphere, all out the window. CULTURE! OUT THE WINDOW! Flavorless, old, microwaved - disgusting.

Do not recommend. Don’t waste your money. As a Jamaican, wanted to support. But I had to write review because curried chicken was so bland and soup was broth no meat all bones. You should not represent Jamaican cuisine.

I’m from NY and I FINALLY found some REALLY GOOD home cooked food with flavor that is unmatched by anyone here in Delaware. I promise you will not be disappointed. And FYI, I never leave reviews, but for this place I will. Thank you! ????Vegetarian options: The cabbage was outstanding! Very delicious. Wasn’t over cooked

The red snapper fish was freezer burned, chicken old. Red Beans and rice was disgusting. All food was put in the trash. Go at your own risk.
