I would like to start off with the fact that this place has hands down been our favorite place. The pizza is spectacular and us being from NY and NJ says a lot!!! The menu always has fantastic items to choose from and the drink menu doesn’t disappoint either. We loved the staff and Shane was one our most favorite persons there. Over the past few months. We have seen the atmosphere change and staff leaving! More recently we can sit there for an extensive amount of time without anyone even bringing water! You had a good thing and now we are so sad to no longer be able to say this is our favorite place 😢. Walked out with 5 people there and not one even saying anything, besides the new pizza young man, who is nice.

Second time at Lore. Innovative dishes perfectly prepared. Our server did a great job. Wine list has some nice reds and whites, including one we particularly like, but is a bit limited. We strongly recommend Lore for an excellent casual dining experience.

We had been to Lore once before and it was great. The food was good and ambience was perfect... But last night was a different story. The doors to the outside were open so there were flies everywhere. We got the “jumbo crab” dip for an appetizer ($18 on the menu) I swear it was 2 melted blocks of cream cheese with no crab to speak of. We mentioned this to our waitress and she said she'd let the kitchen know. My husband had the French onion soup and it was so salty. Our waitress went missing a lot, I was sitting with an empty water glass most of the night. Overall it was way overpriced for the food that was served. When we got the bill the crab dip was still on there and it was $20 not $18 as advertised. My husband and I never complain so the fact we said anything at all about the dip tells you how bad it was. I wasn't going to give our waitress a hard time about the bill because she didn't seem to care either way. Unfortunately, we won't be going back .

Lore was just average at best. Pizza was just OK and the Mediterranean Salad had more greens than the rest of the ingredients. Noise level was way too high.

A quiet lunch with a friend on a Saturday. We both had chicken sandwiches. One of us had a grilled chicken Caesar salad wrap with french fries. One of us had a grilled bbq chicken sandwich with tomatoes and lettuce. French fries accompanied this sandwich. A pickle adorned both meals. Delicious lunches. Great service, too

We love this place! Their new menu is much more extensive than the old one, lots of great offerings. All of the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are very good and the food is fabulous. We're working our way through the menu and haven't found anything we don't like yet. The shrimp and crab pasta, The crab bisque, the salmon, and the pizzas are wonderful..

Amanda, Mike and Josiah did an amazing job. We had an early reservation to beat the holiday crowd.

Great Service! Good Food & Drinks!! We had a graduation lunch. The young lady who was managing the floor was amazing! She was the only there (we did arrive as soon as they opened) but she did a wonderful job of managing the bar band waiting on us and another group. I'm so glad I picked Lore & would definitely visit again if I'm in Dover.

Great apps. Best brick oven pizza in northern Delaware, deserving of comparisons to Pizzeria Vetri.

We went for dinner last night to try out the new menu (new chef) - wow - we were not disappointed! Friendly knowledgeable staff, great selection of menu items and everything we ordered was fabulous. The house bread with dipping sauce is not to be missed. The Crab soup, Shrimp and Crab pasta and the pizzas are amazing.

Friendly and happy service provided. We did find ourselves waiting to order apps and entrees! Also, waited for our check once complete. They were busy, but need to pay more attention! Food was great, the place was loud, we did enjoy our experience. Thanks.

Lore has a new menu that is a must try! We had the tuna appetizer which was the best I've ever had. For dinner we had the meatloaf and the chicken picatta. Both were so delicious and perfectly prepared. We can't wait to go back and try more of the new menu items.

Lots of extra charges on changes off the menu. Like extra for arugula or tomatoe sauce on pizza. 1 oz of amaretto 9.00

We went for brunch to celebrate 2 birthdays and they made us feel very welcome and special! The staff is so friendly and the food and drinks are amazing!

The atmosphere is nice, and the staff was gracious. The parking is plentiful and near the restaurant. It took us over 40 minutes to get our food for a group of three, and the gap between the first and third dish was over 25 minutes.
