We were there for dinner on Sunday evening. They were not crowded. We had an extremely long wait for our food. When we were finally served, 2 of the meals were room temperature and the 3rd one was beyond piping hot. Server would disappear and take a long time to come back. Very disappointed, to say the least.

Have been there a few times in the past, but was very disappointed tonight. They were not crowded, but we waited for an extremely long time for our food. One meal was piping hot, while one was luke warm. The server disappeared for long periods of time so if we needed something, we had to sit and wait. Overall it was a less than acceptable experience. Won't be going back. Luna's has definitely gone down hill.

Customer service and atmosphere were excellent. Comfortable seating. The base pizza is a high-quality and a very delicious NY style. However, as an Italian, my opinion is anything vinegar-based, such as those cheap yellow banana peppers, do not belong on a pizza. Residual vinegar ruins a pizza. I would recommend going with sliced OIL-based hot cherry peppers or just high-quality pepper flakes. Other than that, all was perfect. We would definitely like to return, if we're in the area, to try the pasta. A bit of a pricy menu, though. The Sinatra, sweet attentive waitress, and nice decor helped soften the financial. Impact.

My parents suggested we try Luna's. My family and I were hooked after the first visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are well-maintained. The menu has a great variety of selections and the food is very tasty! We sat down, ordered drinks, and the waitress dropped off fresh bread and a plate of olive oil. The olive oil also had Luna's spelled out in a balsamic drizzle. There's nothing like fresh bread and EVOO!
We ordered the following:
Calamari Fritti: The calamari was cooked well. It was very crunchy and tender. It came with a side of marinara. I do feel the mariana they use is a little ho-hum and bland. But, let’s be honest, you’re not ordering calamari for the marinara.
Fried Brussel Sprouts: There was a heaping mound of brussel sprouts with a checkerboard of balsamic reduction drizzled across the plate. The sprouts also had a bit of grated parm on top. It seemed like the sprouts also had a balsamic drizzle on top as well. This was a bit disappointing, because I like my fried sprouts crispy. The balsamic, while tasty, made the sprouts a little soggy. I wish they put the drizzle on the plate and called it a day. This way the fried sprouts would still be crisp.
Fried Ravioli: My daughter enjoyed the ravioli. She allowed me to try it. I thought the ravioli had a nice texture, but the filling inside the ravioli was a little on the skimpy side. It was like the ravioli inflated during the frying, but with so little filling you didn’t get that nice little pillow of ricotta when you cut into them. The sauce has lots of meat, but I felt it was also a little lacking in flavor.
Luna’s Special Pizza (with no cheese): My one daughter doesn’t eat cheese, but loves her pizza. She enjoyed the pie and said it was very tasty.
Grandmom Pizza: The grandmom pizza is like a Margherrita pizza (sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil leaves) with garlic added. This pizza had a decent flavor, but the crust was a little under done for my taste.
Grandma Pizza (Wood-Fired): This is the reason my wife and I love this restaurant. This is like the Grandmom pizza, except it is smaller, with a thinner crust, and wood-fired. The final touch they put on the pizza, after it comes out of the oven, is a drizzle of basil-infused extra-virgin olive oil on top. This is easily one of the best-tasting pizzas I’ve had in my life! I highly recommend it.

The family always departs Luna’s with full bellies and smiles on our faces. I will admit I am picky about my sauces! I am Italian and was raised in a family with excellent cooks. My grandmother always made sauce from scratch. We were spoiled as kids! The other members of my family are less-picky and enjoy all of Luna’s sauces. So, if you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping in and trying the wood-fired pizza. You won’t be disappointed!

I usually do takeout, 2 cheese slices, last time I did mushrooms and spinach slice I believe and it was Great, definitely plan to order again.
This time I brought a friend with me, im from Brooklyn he’s from the Bronx and we definitely KILLED a Cheese Pizza together (Lol) his first time there and he loved it. I go because it is one of the few places that will remind you of a nice savory NY slice.
I ordered some calamari to go, and was actually pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t ridiculously salty at all. It’s a turnoff for me, because I like to watch my salt intake.
The marinara sauce on the pizza, and on the side of the calamari was all I needed. Full of flavor and just enough. Staff is ALWAYS amazingly helpful friendly. Environment is always Clean. I look for clean in the open spaces and staff. The bathroom was also kept clean. I would honestly eat here every single day if I could, but once in a while to show up and do so is amazing. I send everyone there!! Do Not Change….I felt like having Italian wedding soup today, and didn’t want to make it myself when I checked, THEY HAVE IT, and I’m definitely going today to get some. Have to admit, I’m excited to try it…stay tuned…(TYPICAL SOUP NICE AND HOT, added eggplant parm sandwich and that was really good. A little too salty for me but good)PICTURE ADDED but drank the soup while driving so no picture of that.
Portions are very good btw I’m really not seeing this with higher prices. I think their prices are very reasonable and you are left full and satisfied after.
Thank you Luna’s

5 Stars – A Slice of Heaven at Luna’s Pizzerias! 🍕

From the moment you walk into Luna’s, you’re not just a customer—you’re family. The warmth and hospitality from the staff is unmatched. Everyone greets you with a smile, remembers your name, and truly makes you feel at home. It’s rare to find a place where the people care just as much about your experience as they do about the food, but Luna’s absolutely nails it.

Now let’s talk about the pizza—WOW. Every bite is bursting with flavor, perfectly crisped crust, rich sauce, and the freshest toppings you can imagine. You can taste the love and tradition in every slice. Whether it’s a classic cheese or one of their signature creations, it’s clear that Luna’s takes pride in every pie that comes out of the oven.

The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of good energy. It’s the kind of place where laughter fills the room, families gather, and friends become regulars. Whether you're dining in or grabbing a pie to go, Luna’s Pizzerias is more than just a restaurant—it’s a community.

If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Once you visit Luna’s, you won’t want pizza from anywhere else!

I wanted to take a moment to update my review due to an incident on 06-17-25. I placed a take out order and order the special upside pizza and penne vodka with blackened chicken. Some children proceeded to eat the pizza and afterwards my son open the pasta dish to consume and noticed there was a hair in his dish before he took a bite. This establishment is not close to my home so I called and informed them of the situation and told them I would be bringing them the dish as soon as I was able to and the person on the other end of the line said ok. Upon my arrival I asked the person behind the counter to use a fork to show them exactly where the hair was in the dish and explained to them that my son pointed it out to me. Bc it was mixed in and he was about to consume the dish when he saw it. His response was do you want another penne vodka. I quickly declined. It took me over two hours worth of commuting to get back of forth to this establishment twice once to pick up food and second to return food and this employee wasn’t apologetic. A simple apology goes a long way. I understand that it wasn’t his hair, and can empathize when you work with food this can occasionally occur on accident. I have been coming to this establishment for years and it’s very disappointing of the lack of accountability. The way this incident was poorly handled it has left a bad taste in my mouth and I feel like this should be a teachable moment on how not to treat future customers.

Food was ok, mostly get take out. Two times I went to sit down and eat there and both times they brought out everyone's food but mine. I understand that this happens sometimes, but twice in a row is a problem.

I was hungry and I asked the local for a good pizza shop and she recommended Luna's so I went there and they had probably 30 different types of slices available I picked out two and they were excellent I know a thing or two about pizza and I have to say this was one of the best pizzas I've ever had
