Today is Monday, December 22, 2025. I have a slight head cold and wanted a nice soup of sorts. I decided to try the Pho Viet in Middletown, DE. I know the one near the Philly airport is on point.
Big props to the Middletown location. The Flank Steak and Brisket was very good.
Nice and hot.
Nice size bowl for the medium.
Great selection menu.
Very clean.
Very friendly staff.
Comparable pricing.

Service was very fast. However, the food was as mediocre as it gets. Not bad. Not good. Just edible. A true 5/10. Wouldnt spend the money for that again.

The counter table probably after sushi restaurant was covered with dust. As we walked in, there was only one customer at 6 pm on Saturday. There was no welcome or even a water was not offered. We ordered pho and special pho. The noodles of special was hard, soup was ok. Total experience was not pleasant, unfortunate but wouldn’t go back.

We were traveling back to the Philly area from St Michael's and looking for a lunch spot. In the sea of cookie cutter chain restaurants that flood Middletown DE, we opted for this mom and pop shop that sits unassumingly in an older plaza. It's not a flashy joint but the food is phenomenal! I ordered the grilled pork bun noodles which I still daydream about. Husband got the beef banh mi (he devoured it) and Kid got grilled shrimp on rice (unbeatable flavor). No joke, this place rivals some of the Vietnamese spots in Philly.

I love pho and I’m glad we have some in town! Their pork chops, vermicelli bowls, and banh mi is also very good!

One of the owners Ivan told me to stop by and try it. First time eating Vietnamese food, it was delicious!

We were seated right away and staff was pleasant.

The pho is broth is flavorful and had a decent amount of filling.

The vermicelli noodles with grilled shrimp was delicious. The shrimp was cooked well and they gave you plenty of it. Overall the portion was a little small but it still filled us up.

Not pictured is a shrimp mango salad. We got it to go so I asked for the sauce separate. When I ate it the next day It was still very fresh and the portion size was nice. The salad itself once mixed has plenty of flavor and is very refreshing.

If I’m in the area I’ll for sure stop by again. Pricing was pretty decent too.

Nice quiet place to get pho. Food was delicious!! I honestly would’ve gave it higher but unfortunate there was a bug in my pho. They were cool about it and took it off my bill but I probably won’t return because of that. Service was okay, not them warm and welcoming but I don’t mind that.

Grilled pork spring rolls are amazing and my favorite appetizer that they offer. The flank steak pho is delicious!

The cashier was not pleasant. A thank you for coming would have been in order. He just handed me my food without saying a word. Maybe that was the reason for an empty restaurant. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Rudeness does not elevate a business.

Hoagie had very little meat or filling. Mostly bread.
