I will say that the service from Jay, Patrick, and Vanessa is phenomenal. The staff up at the front are very unprofessional. They laugh and make fun of customers. We checked in they said they werent ready for us, as soon as we walked out they sent a text saying they were ready but when we unloaded the family and went back in they laughed and said they made a mistake. They could have walked out the door in the lobby to tell us they made a mistake before we unloaded the family. They didn't. Not to mention the one girl asked why we were so upset. We told her this happened multiple times in the last month she laughed. We have a special needs family member that has trouble waiting at the door so we choose to wait in the car but they again mistakenly put us ready for a table when they were not ready. The reason we gave them a good score is the kitchen staff is great and make excellent food and the servers are phenomenal.

Had a terrible experience here. Called ahead to see if they could accommodate 11 people. Was told it wasn't a problem. Drove 45mins to meet family there for my son's birthday. We got there and they seated half of us in a booth and the other half at a table that was turned horizontal to the booth. I asked the young girl if we could be seated together or at least somewhere where we wouldn't have our backs to each other. She said she didn't see an issue but would have to ask. A different young girl came over and she had an attitude before we ever told her the issue. She refused to let us move about 3 booths back where we could be together. She said no because its not our servers section and she wouldn't be able to seat anyone there til 5pm. It was 4:30. She was extremely rude and no matter what she wasn't going to allow us to sit together, even though we were told over the phone that it wouldn't be a problem but they couldn't take reservations to just come in...So we ended up leaving and going to Outback steak house, across the street. Outback was 5 stars service, very accommodating and sat all 11 of us together with no issues at all. Texas Roadhouse use to be our favorite restaurant but this was our 1st visit to this loc+⁴'ation, and ultimately the last. But its ok because the server at Outback was happy to serve us and was extremely thankful for the tip he received. We always tip well & being the day after Christmas we were prepared to double our normal tip. Nick at Outback was thankful we chose to leave and eat at a place that had a friendly atmosphere.

Came in for dinner and was disappointed.

Service was very slow with our waitress barely checking in on us. We had to eventually tell someone to grab her so we could get a box and leave.

Food was mid compared to other locations we’ve been to. Got a cup of chili which seemed to only have inedible chewy and fatty pieces in it.

I had an amazing experience at Texas Roadhouse in Middletown! I ordered a Blue Moon, a full rack of ribs, a house salad, and potato skins — and every part of the meal was fantastic.

The ribs were cooked perfectly: tender, flavorful, and falling right off the bone. The house salad was fresh and crisp, and the potato skins were hot, cheesy, and exactly the kind of comfort food you hope for. Pairing everything with an ice-cold Blue Moon just made the whole experience even better.

Service was great, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming. Overall, it was absolutely a five-star meal, and I’d definitely come back for the ribs again.

We always love our steaks at TR! Tonight was not a good night. 1st the place was swamped! Holy Cow ! Tuesday night, cold and rainy! Who would think the place would be so busy.
Anyway, we went with friends. Just 4 of us. Our friend ordered the smothered chicken no gravy, she just wanted the cheese. It came with gravy, mushrooms, and somewhere under all that the person who brought our food to the table, assured her was the cheese. My prime rib was cooked perfectly but had no seasoning and was cold. The marbled fat was hard. My husband's bone in rib eye was seasoned well and cooked perfectly but tough. Our other friend said his dinner was fine. Not good but fine.
No we didn't complain or bring any of this to the attention of the staff. Like I said, the place was swamped and that's what I'm chalking it up too.

Steaks are generally good. The appetizers are generally awful. They this blossoming onion that used to be ok. Now, it's greasy, salty, and inedible. I have ordered a couple of other ones, and those were even worse. They seemed to be old and microwaved. It's noisy, and sometimes you have to pretty much scream to be heard.

Update 11/11/25

Stopped to get the voucher they were offering for Veterans Day as I am a veteran, and they told me that they ran out. Interesting. Very disappointing.

As a result, I am dropping one star across the board.

Parents with children with food allergies please read!
My daughter is allergic to soy so called ahead to ask and they have soy in most of their things (think it’s the butter) but I got to talk to their manager, Julia, who was awesome. She said she could help change things around in the kitchen and just to ask for her when we got there. We did and she was simply amazing- she had different options ready for us and communicated with the kitchen staff to make sure there was no cross contamination. My daughter got to eat with NO reaction to anything and she killed the food. Our server trey was awesome as well. He turned me on the burger and legit was one of the best burgers that I’ve had and it was cooked perfectly. It was a great experience and they took extra care to help with the food allergy and didn’t make it feel like it was any trouble for them. We will continue to frequent TRH and really appreciated this staff and everything they did for us!

Today was the third time my family visited this location. While the server was super nice and helpful, we did not feel the food was worth what we spent. The roadkill entree, sirlion, and prime rib were all very dry. Very disappointed.
