A friend and myself just stopped in specifically to play pool and get a bite to eat. The pool tables are a GREAT addition. The bartender and waitress were super friendly and helpful also. We will be back for sure

This will be our last visit to Green Turtle. We did not receive our food until an hour and a half after arriving. Some food was cold and some food didn't come at all. After speaking with the manager you can clearly see he was overwhelmed as he was also working as a cook. He appeared bothered by our complaints and stated he had to go because he had to return to helping in the kitchen. He did discount the bill slightly after my request. Overall I DO NOT recommend visiting this establishment. It was a waste of time and money.

Happy hour states that TALL DOMESTIC BEER is $3.00. However, I got charged regular price. #michelobultra
I KNOW DOMESTIC beers.
Please help me understand why?
And, the last time, I was in the establishment, I was charged happy hour prices by someone who knows that #michelobultra is a DOMESTIC.
I AM CONFUSED.
Monday, October 7th.
I decided to return back to the establishment to speak to a manager.
Instead of making excuses for the lack of training or beer knowledge of your BAR staff, manager S, should have apologized for the mistakes she made and refunded the money that was owed to me.
He proceeded to state that the happy hour specials came out a couple of weeks ago, which is not true. I came in on September 26th with the same friends and had no issues with same happy hour specials with a different bartender ?.
Manager S wanted to check the computer to see if the button was put in correctly, l believe, and walked off. I understand when you know you are in the wrong on how you handled this situation. And, if you are reading this, I am an educator who worked at a seafood restaurant for 19 years.
And I am proud to post this because you lost a group of customers, and by the looks of it, the Greene Turtle needs more people to turtle in. The vibe is a lost cause.
Also, I was kind and edited my first review because the manager S said that RACE shouldn't have been mentioned. However, I do that because there are some people who stereotype people. It happens all the time.
Nice place for a business meeting. Food and service were great.

10/7/24 Went back and spoke with the manager Seth and he was not receptive to our feedback at all. His tone was very demeaning and accusatory like we did something wrong. He only said the Happy Hour menu was new (within the last 2 weeks) and that’s why the bartender didn’t charge appropriately and the register didn’t have the correct prices and walked off-no reconciliation.
However, we have been there within the 2 week timeframe and another bartender accurately charged us on the register.
Maybe Seth should focus on hiring bartenders that do the job effectively instead of ones that are good for him to look at.
We will find a Happy Hour that is deserving of our money.
10/4/24 Asked if Angry orchard was a domestic draft beer for happy hour and was told YES then charged regular price. When asked server she said she told me yes but didn’t change my bill. Get it together!

Literally we had to walk out after we got to know that 4 items out of 5 we order are not there and got to know after 15 mins wait when we were very hungry.. Not sure how they are running the business.

Food and drinks were good but the male server was so terrible that took away from an enjoyable experience. We had to ask another server for plates and napkins with the appetizer . He failed to do the basics and when we asked for the bill, he just put it on the table and walked away. No good evening, have a good night, nothing. I had to deduct from his tip. Hope to visit again but will avoid that server.

Had the worst service I’ve had in a long time. However. The manager quickly resolved my concerns. I was understanding that they were short staffed today out a waiter and cook but our situation wasn’t too hard to correct. I’m giving three stars because I was impressed on how well the manager handled himself, my concerns, and my bill. We will return even with today’s mixup.
