The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille

Service was bad, a couple friends and I went here for one of our birthdays recently. We got seated quickly but no servers acknowledged us at all. And it wasn’t even that busy. After 18 minutes, we ask the hostess if a server will be coming, she says she’ll be there soon. 18 minutes then turns into 29 minutes, until someone FINALLY came. Drinks and appetizers took like 15 minutes to come out (they came at the same time which isn’t too much of a bad thing) then our main courses came, I ordered my burger medium, it was well done and it had burnt edges and even a hair was in the fries. The server tried to blame us for putting it there. What?! We won’t be back.

Amaya was the best server I had , she made sure I had the best customer service, food was amazing..definitely recommend 10/10

I was there on Wednesday around 1pm i came in with family our server was Amaya she was very sweet, she helped us with the gluten free menu and she provided us with everything we asked for i will definitely be back we had an amazing meal and experience.

I stopped in around 3 p.m. yesterday. I sat at the bar. I believe the bartender's name was Amiyah (not sure how she spelled it). She was incredibly kind and polite. She brightened my evening after we talked for some time. However, the meal was average. Nothing extraordinary, just average restaurant food.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt like I had to take a moment to recognize the incredible service I received from Amaya at The Greene Turtle. From the moment we sat down she greeted us with such a genuine smile and welcoming attitude that instantly made us feel comfortable. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, checking in at the perfect times to make sure we had everything we needed.

What stood out most was how detail oriented and professional she was. She made recommendations that turned out to be exactly what we wanted, kept our drinks full without us having to ask, and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. On top of that she carried such a positive energy that made the whole experience more enjoyable.

It is not often that you come across someone who truly takes pride in what they do and it showed in the way Amaya took care of us. Because of her I will definitely be coming back to The Greene Turtle. She turned a regular meal into a great experience and she deserves recognition for the excellent service she provides.

The service was amazing!!! Amaya was so welcoming and attentive! She makes the BEST drinks! The juicy peach is a winner!! Atmosphere was very clean. We ordered the crab dip and the chicken quesadilla! Top tier cooking! They were made to perfection. Thank you Green turtle!

Really bad restaurant around. The food is poor and the quality is bad.

There really isn’t much redeeming about this restaurant. With a lot of options in Middletown, this place is just a waste of time and money.

I ordered the $16 spinach Artichoke dip as well as the $14 buffalo cauliflower with ranch dressing. This is what I recieved from the restaurant for $30!!!! No chips, half the dip and no dressing. Very disappointed in this restaurant. I have given them chance after chance of being disappointed in their meal promise and I am 100% done! Green turtle should be embarrassed by this.

I loved this place. The bartender Brian and his crew took care of us. We had just got into town straight off the road trip and they made sure we were able to get a decent meal. He asked the kitchen to stay open for us. They don't make to many people with good hospitality anymore. We are grateful and thankful for this. Hope to stop in my next trip to Delaware.

You just lost a take out customer. This is the 3rd time this month I have purchased from your restaurant and was told you don’t provide cutlery for take out. No consideration for travelers.

Not a pleasant experience. Greeting consisted of “Just two?” He then turned and walked away. Put the menus and cutlery down on the table and walked off. We waited another 7 in and the same gentleman returned and said “Are you all ready to order?” There wasn’t a greeting, introduction or any small pleasantries exchanged. We had to order everything at once. A few minutes later, we heard Busta Rhymes playing. But it wasn’t the edited version. My daughter was hearing Busta talk about putting his d@ck in “her” mouth. The staff in the kitchen had to skip 4 more songs due to the language. I’m not sure why this is the chosen playlist, however, eventually there was no music at all. This was at 3 in the afternoon. I don’t come here often, but I do not have any desire to return after today’s experience.
