I recently visited Natural Nest Cafe during its advertised hours of operation on Thursdays and Fridays, from 8 AM to 4 PM. However, upon arriving at 1:45 PM, I found the store dark, doors locked, and no visible activity inside. Despite attempting to call several times, there was no answer.Having managed businesses for family members, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to closures or early closure for various reasons. However, upon checking their social media pages for any communication about an early closure, I found none.In an attempt to gather more information, I called their Dover location, where the person who answered provided minimal information. They mentioned that if there were no reservations past 2 PM, they may close early, despite my arrival at 1:45 PM.This experience highlights a lack of respect for both the company's stated hours of operation and its customers. Their website clearly states: 'Reservations are encouraged but not required for our 2-hour blocks of open play.' and 'We offer Open Play, Classes and Event reservations online to ensure you have a spot to play as we have limited play capacity. Drop in is offered on an as available basis only. Please call ahead.' Their website clearly states that reservations are encouraged but not required for open play, and drop-ins are accepted based on availability. After reading other reviews mentioning other inconsistencies, and considering the significant distance I traveled (nearly 30 minutes) to visit their party space, I'm disappointed and unwilling to invest further time in visiting this establishment. It's worth noting that I solely intended to see the party space before blindly booking online and had no interest of play time during this visit. I could only imagine the further disappointment if I had children eager to play with me.

Such a cute place for littles to play and explore! This was our first time here and my children, ages 2, 7, and 9 loved it! It was the perfect rainy morning activity. The older two just came to play with their little brother but they still had a good time. The reservation process was seamless and easy and the environment is laid back. It looks like they took someone’s suggestion and added some music for the background ambience so that was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

Terrible business practices. My granddaughters 2 year old birthday party was double booked. We have emails stating the time. Instead of having us share space they made us leave. We had to reroute 15 adults and 6 two year olds to another place. So disappointing and very emotional to say the least. We paid $200 and they would not reimburse our funds. Party planners move on!

Took my 4 year old today, and she had so much fun. Had lots of little activities for kids to do. I must add this is a very quiet environment, which is good for my daughter as she thrives in these types of environments where not too much commotion is going on. Just a suggestion, having soft meditation/ nature/ or kid music playing in the background can make the experience even better.

We had the opportunity to go to this location a few weeks ago and it was simply incredible!I loved how safe the space was and that they had a separate “zone” for infants and early walkers. You can tell the owners have spared no expense to offer amazing Montessori inspired toys. There are so many features about this facility that I loved…the air cannon, the build your own fort, the indoor playground, the magnetic wall, the healthy food choices and co-working option. But my favorite part, is that it’s not an overly stimulating environment.I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a fun and reasonably priced place to take your infant or child.

Great place to let your kiddos burn some steam. It's clean and cozy. Don't expect to get a lot of work done if it's just you and your kids but if there are other children around, then they might play together and you get a break.

I absolutely love this space for my little ones! The space is exceptionally clean. The toys and activities are age appropriate and modern! The staff is friendly and attentive! Perfect for an afternoon outing to get us out of the house! Keep up the great work!

This place was amazing! It was clean, the girl at the front was so kind and helpful, and there was a great selection of play toys. We will be back next time we drive through the area!

Great place for younger children.I like that the children area was separated from where the parents can sit and keep an eye on them or take off their shoes to participate with the children. Very friendly staff and the facility was clean.

We had a birthday party here over the weekend and it was great! The kids enjoyed themselves and two hours was plenty of time to play and open presents/cake . The two young girls who were working could have been a little more welcoming, however, they did look pretty young so maybe just shy? I’m not sure, but either way, we had a great time!

The place was cute but should have only been marketed to children 2 years and younger. The website suggests that all visitors wear socks but the owner insisted that my child wear socks with grips but tried to sell me regular socks without grips. I asked her to show me on the website where socks with grip was written and required, she could not.The entire event was unorganized and there was no real agenda. We attended the Bluey event and there was no games, crafts or dance party like advertised. I paid $44 for both my children and it was most certainly not worth it.Additionally, the owner's son who might be about 2 years old hit my niece three different times. I do understand that his behavior is developmentally appropriate, however, the owner was not at all apologetic and only removed him after my niece's mother complain although she was in the same vicinity of at least two of the slaps her son did. Instead, she just shouted at my niece's mother that she did not see her child slapping my niece.Regrettably, I do not recommend this place at all because of the lack of hospitality and the awful disposition of the owner.
