Great brewery in Middletown with friendly, welcoming hosts. The place is beautifully maintained, with lots of spots and nooks to hang out. The have tons of outdoor space and a huge upstairs room. The beer was great, lots of styles to choose from. My favorite was the Airbrushed Plates #8 NEIPA. But all the beers were done well, including the Honey Wheat, the Peach Cream Ale, and the Marzen. Volunteer is a short detour off route 1- if you are heading north or south, definitely make a stop!

I held my husband’s surprise party in the upstairs portion of the brewery. From the time I spoke with Kevin about the booking process to the execution of the event everything was amazing! Kevin provided answers to any questions I had, and had everything ready to go the day of the event. The bartenders were a great addition to our party and were very knowledgeable and friendly, our dedicated bartender , Kevin was amazing. The decorations for Christmas were already up for our event and added an extra special touch and were so beautiful! Thank you all for the hospitality. Thank you!

I come to Volunteer Brewing whenever I am in town. Their beer selection is diverse and all of them hit. Their beertendars are knowledgeable, friendly and are always a delight. The original brewery out back in the shed is a classic look and I’d love for them to do some one offs there.

We rented the upstairs for our daughter’s birthday. The price was perfect. The space is open, has tables and lots of seating (couch, chairs), and had additional tables that were set up as needed. The staff was easy to work with and was helpful during the event.

Want local and amazing beer, Volunteer. New to Middleton we went to Volunteer during a July heat wave and had the delicious Drift Rice Lager. Clean and crisp. Explored further into Orange Blossom Wheat Ale which paired well with my onsite local food truck dinner. I finished with a flavored seltzer-made to order, make sure to ask about this and Doug had a Hefeweizen. All beyond delicious. If you’re still reading stop and just go there!

Gorgeous little brewery with tons of spaces. It has an upstairs and a large patio yard. The place is emaculate and handsomely adorned. The staff are very personable and the beers are good. A great place to meet friends and socialize.
