First time my husband and I tried this place for New Year’s Eve. The place looked beautiful and the ambiance was festive and cozy. We were told that the restaurant was a little pricey but moving from NY we were used to pricey but as long as the food matches the prices, we are fine with that. We ordered shrimp cocktail for appetizer and it was very good. I ordered the crab cakes which was MP and asked if it came with a side which I was told no and I thought was odd but went with it anyway. The crab cakes were good, I’ve had better. When the bill came the MP for just 2 crab cakes were $74.00 . That was an eye opener for us! My husband had children parm and he said it was ok. Anyway, that’s our last time there. Not worth the prices.

Way over priced to get served cold food after and hour wait with no apologies. Then you get charged for the ingredients in the old fashioned. $15 plus $3 for the ingredients. Very unusual. We sat at the bar where the Burnett was very unprofessional. Most items are marked M/P which is where they get you because it’s super pricey. I don’t recommend it.

Tonight was our second time, with the first time being great. However tonight's dinner & service was VERY disappointing. We order four item. Two being our main meal & the other two being sides. It took 1:20min for our partial meal to arrive an a extra 5-8min for mine to finally appear & all the waitress could give was an apology. My pasta was basic & my partners steak was CHARCOALED BLACK not even slightly blackened.

Went to dinner and the place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. All the staff were friendly and our waitress was wonderful. She managed our group well and kept communication open as we had some long wait times for food. I had the broccoli cheddar soup it had a good flavor but way to thick. The chicken parmesan was ok the cutlet in my opinion was a little bland but moist. Prepare yourself the portions are huge you will have plenty to take home.

Service, food, overall dining experience top notch. Perhaps a couple of sides a bit salty...however maybe just a manner of taste...A beautiful dining experience.. Recommended for those with deep pockets.

I really want to give this place five stars, but a few things hold it back.
1. Bartender: The brunette bartender was extremely unprofessional. She seemed annoyed to serve customers and barely made eye contact. For the price I’m paying for a drink, basic courtesy and a smile aren’t too much to ask. She could use a serious lesson in hospitality.
2. Host Stand: The older woman working the host stand was overwhelming and came across as disorganized and abrasive. We later found out she was either the owner or manager, which makes it even worse. For the prices being charged here, that level of customer interaction is unacceptable. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and alienates guests.
3. Service & Food: We waited a long time for our meals, but once the food arrived, it was excellent. The kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing, the food was flavorful, well-presented, and worth the wait.
4. Coffee Drinks: Skip them. They look good on the menu but don’t live up to the price or hype.
5. Atmosphere: The restaurant is very clean, but the servers and bartender all looked miserable. It’s hard to enjoy your evening when the staff looks defeated, likely due to poor management or the stressful environment the manager creates by being rude to everyone.
6. Bar Policy: Apparently, this is the only place in Delaware where you can’t just sit at the bar for a drink without ordering food. That policy makes no sense. No other restaurant or bar in the state operates that way.
7. Location & Overall Value: The location feels odd and somewhat out of place. If you can get past the rude host and bartender, the food is excellent, but be ready to spend about $200 for two people.

As a solo diner-in dire need of sustenance-they accommodated my requests and satisfied all my taste buds beyond my widlest imagination. Chefs choice was impressive 👏

Our dishes were flavorful, ample and delicious! Our waiter, Johnny was perfect and the ambiance … from the dreamy playlist blending rat pack and Americas songbook - to the candlelit warmth in every nook and cranny … what a wonderful surprise to find as we passed through Milford!

I wanted this dinner to be special, as it was a send-off for a young man entering our great Army, but the restaurant made it anything but memorable. The food was -tasteless-: scant, dried vegetables; meat dishes served cold in the center; and a chicken parmesan missing the parmesan altogether with an underwhelming “chef byou” sauce. Even the deviled eggs (\$29.00!) were a disappointment, with only a thin sliver of crab meat that a grocery store could have done better.

For nearly $400 (including an automatic gratuity for 5 people), the quality was nowhere near the price. Drinks—both mocktails and adult beverages—were more like pop-style mixes than crafted selections. As for dessert, the restaurant offered only a single cupped portion with one spoon, placed on a crumb-covered table left from the meal before us. That lacked of care said it all.

The only positives: the hostess and servers were wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. But for this important evening, I wish we had gone to Olive Garden or simply cooked at home. I actually opened a can of chicken noodle soup when I got home because I left hungry.

Sadly, this was a -one-and-done visit. Never again if I can help it.

I will never go back. They were out of house wines, out of most appetizers. We shared the worst Caesar salad I have ever had.
They serve the leaves whole so the other person gets no dressing. No extra dressing was offered nor pepper. The server was MIA. Dinner took Forty five minutes to come. I got the Gnocchi's in a cream sauce. It was supposed to have pine nuts, but it was covered with rancid sesame seeds. I did not take the leftovers home. We did not order dessert. If you want a great restaurant go to Legal Assets in Easton Maryland.

Yes, it is a pricy upscale restaurant but worth the expense. Menu is small with very varied presentations. We had filet mignon, mussels fra diavalo, 2 unique appetizers and 3 different cocktails. I do have an issue with the extraordinary overpriced cocktails. Although delicious, I cannot accept 20 dollars for a small cocktail. We met with Zeus, the remarkable Chef to discuss gastronomic dishes. He is awesome and extremely talented. The owner of Benevenuto is a delightful woman with sincere objective of pleasing customers.
Lovely surroundings which are not
an artificial feeling of Italian kitsch
or pretend an Italian bistro.
Go ahead, treat yourself to a marvelous gastronomic experience.
Service excellent.
A rare gem of upscale dining in strip mall.
