I stopped in today for a scone and was lucky, They had 1 left. It was coconut. I also grabbed a long loaf of bread. Which I brought home and made garlic bread with.
This was only my second time there but each time I go I try to get there earlier because the case is almost empty.
I think I’m still not getting there early enough.

The Christmas cookies were a big hit at our Family Christmas dinner. And those coconut chocolate cookies were scrumptious. 😋

Absolutely love the scones, breads and rolls. I usually go for the bread and rolls, but once I’m in there and see all the other goodies , look out.

It's a cute little bakery in an unassuming building. They make different specialty breads each day of the week (Sundays are ciabatta and focaccia). Prices are reasonable.
Pros: The cinnamon sugar munchkin equivalent (I forget the fancy name) was excellent.
Cons: The chocolate shortbread cookie on the other hand was dry and rock hard like it was over baked.
Staff (both front of house and the guy kneeding the dough in the back) had no clue what ingredients are in their doughs and breads (specifically whether they contain dairy). In general, pizza dough and bread are able to be made without any traces dairy even in small bakeries but many places do choose to add in dairy (family member with a life-threatening allergy to even trace amounts of dairy).

Vegetarian options: They sell breads and desserts

Dietary restrictions: DO NOT RECOMMEND. Both front of house and staff baking the bread claim to have no clue what ingredients are in the products (I asked both in general and specifically about dairy).

Parking: The street parking is packed at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday, less so later in the day and during the week.

Kid-friendliness: No reason you couldn't bring your kid but know that it is extraordinarily small and the only business on its Street.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lip to get up into the building and the building itself is barely wide enough. If there is more than one other person in the store, you will not be able to maneuver a wheelchair.

I reached out to order focaccia for our wedding (BYO pasta bar deserved some delicious bread to sop up the sauce!) and my expectations were blown out of the water. If you haven’t visited Fortunata’s, you are missing out. The focaccia was STUNNING and tasted absolutely incredible. 12/10, no notes.

Ordered 2 dozen kaiser rolls for pulled pork. They were fresh, soft, slightly crunchy, and very tasty. I highly recommend Fortunatas and will have to try some of their other rolls and pastries.

Love the fresh-backed bread ? from them everything that I have tried so far is good and so fresh.
It is way better than store-bought bread and best of all it won't upset my belly.
