Good service, nice ambiance
Had no idea this was here. Frequently dine in Millsboro and when up north, Newark. Just as good as the other locations, just as spotless. Food was delicious. Service excellent like always.

This restaurant is so beautiful I love the chairs…..I got a chimichanga and my husband got a shrimp/scallop fajita…..they were absolutely delicious!!! They didn’t have many staff as it was 330 in the afternoon but they were responsive and friendly….we will go again soon!!

Great place! Great service!
We had a WONDERFUL late lunch here! We found it by accident, while visiting a different business in the area, but it will be our go-to from now on. We were well after the lunch rush, so the place was starting to empty out, but the service was excellent & the food was fresh & good. We ate more than our share still had leftovers to take home. Highly recommend!
Server was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Restaurant was so much bigger than I expected. Tables and chairs were colorful, looked hand‐carved, and were so pretty. Food was hot, tasty, and came out fast. Reasonably priced.
Parking: It's in a shopping center so you may not get a spot as close as you prefer.

Recommend by many- no idea why. Chain service food. Ceiling had tons of water stains. Seats were ripped up and hurt to sit on in shorts. Service was extremely slow- not crowded at all- but at least friendly (somewhat). Ordered tortilla soup? No it was chicken soup with one slice of carrot and zucchini. Mushy rice on bottom. Soggy chips and tossed on sour cream- which made it look curdled. Plus- it was NOT even hot! Guacamole was good. Chips were somewhat stale and salsa was from a jar I think. Not impressed. Will not be back. I think my husbands friends need new taste buds.

My go to local Mexican restaurant! This is always hot and fresh! Margaritas are always on point. This was the first time I've taken my young child. She loved the cheese tacos and French fries. We'll be back!

This is no longer your TYPICAL bland Texas-mexican food in Milford, Delaware.
The lead chef is name Fauto and he is originally from Honduras.
He does not speak much English but this is fine because the comexities and nuances in his 100% authentic Mexican dishes SPEAK volumes for his massive culinary experience.
Tasting his cooking is almost as good as seeing the varied and gorgeous variety of Mexico's vast and varied multiple ecosystems and landscapes.
Just like California, Mexico has beautiful beaches, mountains and many more historical sites than the United States who is a baby country is this world -- officially proclaimed as a country in 1776.
Regardless about how you feel about history and our country's current tedious relationship with the government of Mexico, you should definetly come taste this chef's food!
I think you will find it as authentic as any true Mexican cooks along the border and in any Southwestern state!
This is not your normal boring DELMARVA made Tex-Mex food.
LA Tonalteca in Milford is worth the detour off of Route 1 to try his 5-star quality food right here in the heart of chicken country and Below the canal!
It is one of my slower lower Delaware/Kent County favorites!
You owe it to your selves to eat here.
This is not a paid advertisement!
I'm just a retired military journalist who traveled the entire world. I've made a ton of close friends on most every continent and I eat their food while learning about their country.
Try it
