First of all Jason was a great waiter. We ordered a veggie pizza with extra veggies and chicken. It came out covered in spices. Mainly pepper. In my years eating at restaurants traveling as a pilot I have never had a pizza with so many spices that I could not have another slice. Told the waiter and he was very nice. Then Sal, I believe the manager/ owner, came to talk to us. He said “we needed to let him know if we did not want all that spice. A veggie pizza with all those veggies needs that much spice.” Any other restaurant I have been to adds a minimum amount of spice and lets the customer add more if they want. I would not recommend this restaurant because of Sal’s attitude.
We have been going to Mama Maria's for about 10 Years. Last night 1/15/1925, our senior bowling group went to have dinner there. We had a group of 12 people It took about 1/2 an hour to get our drinks. Many people ordered coffee. When it finally came out it was cold. It all had to be sent back. I believe it was about 45 minutes before our dinner was served. When it was finally served some of the meals were cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The owner, Sal, threw the young waiter under the bus. The waiter was way over his head and Sal did nothing to help the poor guy. There were just two other couples in the restaurant. They were not busy.
We had a fabulous meal at Mama Maria's. I enjoyed the fish of the day , which was a delicious salmon and veggie medley, and my partner had the eggplant parmesan (different title) . We eat eggplant a lot and he remarked that this was the best eggplant he has ever had in a restaurant. Clearly home made dinner rolls and the salads were very large, as were the meal portions. We loved the quiet atmosphere with lowish lighting. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating . We frequent Bombay Hook and Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuges, so we will be back!
Call me Karen! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY!!! If they make your food INCORRECTLY, with an ingredient that you are ALERGIC TOO; they will charge you despite only eating 3 noodles!!! Then when you bring it to their attention, they come back with the bill them charge you $7 for the side salad and roll!!! BECAUSE THEY MESSED UP!!! Anyone who knows me KNOWS it is not about the money, I still paid the bill and tipped 20%. BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! For as many times that I’ve been there for dinner, pizza for parties, word of mouth marketing I do for them, work meetings, ETC!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Instead of going to see Wicked tonight, I’m going home to take Benadryl, for active allergies symptoms I’m experiencing…
Been there a few times now. Solid, legit Italian American food. I’ve had lasagna, calare, pizza, and meatballs. All really good. Best pizza in Milford no doubt.
Probably the best pizza I've had in Delaware. I've only been here for a year and I'm comparing this to Pennsylvania area New York style Pizza.
Service was terrible. Pizza was cold and had been sitting a long time. Atmosphere was cheap and slapped together. Never would recommend even parking there. Terrible experience. Avoid this place.

Great spot for a large group. Service was very good because we were a group of 13. Basic Italian American fare prepared very well. Pasta wasn’t over cooked and sauce was flavorful. Ample parking and easy access from the DE Turf Complex.
Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly level with two ramp spaces out front. Adequate room between tables

Really disappointed in my pasta. This place has decent reviews so I figured I'd try it. I ordered a Vodka pasta to go, which I was really craving. The sauce tasted like it had been frozen and reheated, with zero flavor. Paying $25 for the pasta itself with no protein, you'd think the sauce would be much yummier. The salad was good that came on the side though.

The food was authentic with fresh ingredients and was served on a timely manner. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The prices have gone up a bit and may scare some folks away. But overall it was a very good experience.
