Old school Italian restaurant. Owner came out and talked to us. Food was excellent. We had Chicken and Shrimp Marsalas. Penn vodka sauce with chicken.

First thing that happened, we ordered drinks. One margarita and one crush. I noticed a fruit fly in my drink and called waitress over and showed her. She took my drink as if to take to bartender or whomever made it, but brought it back without the fruit fly. Told me she was leaving it there for the person to come get it. A gentleman shows up and asks what’s wrong , very hard to explain the fruit fly In my drink when the waitress removed it. Gentleman takes my drink. Fast forward.
My dad gets his food and I receive my sides but no main dish. I patiently waited until I saw waitress helping other tables then I asked her and she seemed surprised I didn’t get my shrimp. Long story short they had to make it.
Soup was wonderful!! Cream of crab and oyster soup. Shrimp was tough. Time to pay for bill. Never took the drink with the fruit fly off my bill. Waitress did get that corrected.
We had high hopes for this place but we were not impressed.

We ate at this restaurant on the way back from Va. Beach via Chesapeake Bay Tunnel / Bridge. We arrived later in the evening and sat on the patio area. Nice atmosphere and good food. Looking forward to going back again.

We just swung our car in to check this place out and it's amazing!!!! Everyone is so friendly and they had so much to choose from!!! We cant wait to feast on oysters, scallops, shrimp, and our wonderful desserts!

Crab dip - Excellent
Crab cakes - Broiled - Moist, flavorful and perfectly seasoned.
Scallops - Broiled - Tender and perfectly prepared.
Potato salad - Creamy, large chunks of potatoes, onions and other ingredients were a smaller chop and perfectly sized / proportioned.
Cole slaw - Perfectly sized shredded cabbage, creamy, slightly sweet and not overdressed as some other cole slaw can be.
Hush puppies - Warm, crunchy and the perfect density. I would love some minced onion in the batter prior to frying but that's just me. Overall, excellent hush puppies.
Our server was prompt, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable willing to help first timers - which we were.
We enjoyed our experience here very much and look forward to our next visit.

Recommended to me, now I will recommend to you. Generous tasty portions. Staff is pleasant and friendly. You don’t feel rushed.
Fish n chips were delicious, fries were fresh and not overly salted. Coleslaw was fresh and tangy. That chocolate ganache-style dessert is amazing and the vanilla ice cream is perfect for it. All very good!

We’ve been driving by this restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a try and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes without so much as a hello from anyone on staff. Several employees walked by, but it felt like they were intentionally avoiding the area where we were seated. No drinks, no food, no acknowledgment at all.
We eventually left hungry and disappointed. After looking forward to trying this place for so long, the lack of service made it an experience we won’t be repeating.
