My mother lived here for 12 days. We paid close to $15,000.00 upfront for her rent, medical expenses, a Community fee of $3000.00 and a pet fee. My mother died on her 13th day. We spoke with Brenda, the director prior to agreeing to move mom in. We discussed refunding fees if something should happen to her. Milford Place is a caring and safe community with a homey environment. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and attentive, especially in the memory care unit, where residents with Alzheimer's are well taken care of. The comfortable atmosphere helps residents bond with staff, making it a highly recommended place for loved ones to stay.
