The smith island cakes are incredible!! I’ve followed them on social media for a few years now and finally decided to order a half smith island cake for thanksgiving. Everyone was asking where I got it from and kept saying how delicious it was (Ordered chocolate covered banana btw)! It was the first smith island cake I’ve had that wasn’t dry and tasteless. It was moist and sooo tasty! Will definitely order again!

I found this place to be quaint, cool and have a great happy hour special. There was a good beer selection and the staff was kind. They had live music Saturday but we never got a chance to eat because we had other plans. Iwill return. Good to have more options in the area, just wish they stayed open later on weekend nights.

This was my first time here, I ordered carry out for lunch . I got their Tuesday taco special. The order was 1 fish taco and 1 shrimp taco, the meal comes with chips I subbed the chips for fries and added a side of crab dip. I thought the hostess was pleasant and the atmosphere/seating arrangement was nice as well. I asked for cheese on my tacos and received a side/cup of nacho cheese. I’ve never had or seen nacho cheese on a taco before. I assumed they did not have shredded cheese but when I asked I was told they do have shredded cheese and that is typically the cheese thats given when someone asks for cheese on their tacos so I am unsure why I was given nacho cheese. The sauce that does come with the tacos tasted like yogurt. Both the fish and shrimp tasted fresh and were fried well, but I feel they were not seasoned or severely under seasoned. The fries were good and seasoned. The crab dip was super oily so much so I had to pour oil off of it to eat it. Although it was oily I tasted fine the crab dip was ok. Over all the meal was ok and edible I just thought it would be seasoned, it unfortunately was not to my liking I will not be returning.

Tacos were soggy in the flour tortillas and salsa should come with them, not charge extra for it. Fried clams were more breading than clams, and hush puppies disappointing. They were crispy but flavorless. My beer was the best part of lunch.

Awesome staff. Taller bar stools. Food is enjoyable, in or to go, and the Driftwood selection is incredible. We love the Big Air wrap. Highly recommend and please discount a craft beer on happy hour.
