This place is a rare gem! I live in VA and visit family and friends in the coastal Delaware area often — despite not living in DE I had no issue finding Bella’s Cookies to pick up my order. For those of us who don’t have “ the world as our oyster”, so to speak, we do not mind taking the time to make an appointment to pick up special bakes that are as amazing as the cookies and cupcakes I picked up yesterday afternoon! I am not ashamed to say that most of these incredibly delicious treats did not survive our 2.5 hrs. drive back home — as I could not stop eating them while telling my spouse the entire drive home how amazing the cupcakes and cookies are…were! My spouse who has no special dietary restrictions, like myself, and is usually my “normal” blind taste tester also agreed and raved about how moist and delicious the cupcakes were, and the perfectly baked cookies (crisp on outside with a chewy-yumminess on the inside). I have finally found the one!! … not spouse, but bakery, Bella’s Cookies! Thank you so much Kelly Leishear for all your hard work, dedication, and passion while infusing your culinary artistic talents and perfecting the science of baking! I mean, WOW! Had I known the bakes were this delicious, I would have ordered more! Expect to hear back from me very soon, if not today, to schedule another appointment to pick up more of your delicious baked treats!

They baked us dairy free cupcakes, smash cake, and regular cake all to match my one fish two fish red fish blue fish theme. The cupcakes and cake were hands down the best desserts me and many of my friends have eaten. It was an almost two hour drive to the bakery from our house (oops for not checking the map beforehand) and we plan on making this drive over and over again. Everyone raved about the taste and presentation.
They were also super friendly, helpful, and genuine. You will absolutely not be disappointed! Picture of my son enjoying his special first birthday smash cake!

Favorites were Appledoodle and Molasses. Big, soft cookies with just the right chewy texture. Highly recommend for vegans or anyone who like cookies!

I don't know where to start with this review. Everything that I have tried over the years, from Bella's Cookies, is absolutely delicious. Everything! Yes, they are a vegan bakery, and they cater to people with food allergies and / or people trying to live a healthier "plant based" lifestyle but if they didn't tell you that, you would never know. Their recipes are top-notch, and they use quality ingredients. I can tell by their products that they have a passion for what they do. Keep doing what you do. You are an inspiration to those around you.

We ordered a small cake for a non vegan mother's birthday, she loved it as well as we the Vegans! Spoke with the owner, Kelly, who was delightful and thoughtful about every detail when ordering the lemon cake with raspberry filling and sweet buttercream icing. The lemon cake flavors were subtle and sophisticated, wonderfully moist, nice texture reviewed by my picky mom the artisan baker. Large orders need long lead times but Kelly accommodated our small request in less than a week ahead, colors, flavors, textures all perfect. Will definitely come back, just outside Milton and you prepay and they bring out to your car. Loved It!
