I am there frequently. Always a great time, staff has never been anything other than wonderful, love that I can stop in with my pup. The extensive beer selection never disappoints.
Drove 40 minutes here just for some rude little red head to greet my boyfriend and i with an attitude, asked politely if it was okay we were 8 minutes late to our tour, she then screamed across the bar twice with no one responding to her and proceeded to tell us to follow her to the bar, she stamped me and then denied my boyfriend who had both a physical state ID from PA and a Paper drivers license (issued by the dmv) two seperate forms of physical identification and denied him a stamp and told us we couldnt do the tour even tho it says its a family friendly tour and when i asked for a refund she looked absolutely disgusted by me and left and did get my refund atleast but just the entire experience was a waste of time and she was weird to begin with. And idk who yells across a full bar of people to a busy bar tender but im glad we didnt eat or tour or drink here it was our first time and our last we thought this place looked so cool and were so excited to be here and the girl just seemed like we were an issue to begin with for being a few minutes late. We were very disappointed to not get a tour and very displeased with the entire experience.
Amazing beer and selection. The gift shop has great items and liquor as well! We took the tour and loved it! Very nice history and good taste tests.
Tara was not only a great bartender but also the best tour guide !! I was in town for vacation and had to stop by the official DFH brewery/distillery. She made the trip very enjoyable with her sense of humor and great knowledge of everything Dogfish. I will be returning next year for sure!! Great facility great beer great staff and great food (get the soup!!!) Also special shout out to Jasmine behind the bar! DFH has the coolest and most hospitable staff, 10 out of 10 ! The tree house was 1 of my favorite parts 🔥 stay awesome! I'm repping that DogFish shwag down here in DC !
Great place.m lll
No tours due to Punkin' Fest. Good food and checked out fest
We have tried some of these beers in the past but were excited to check out the main brewery for a tour. We had a great afternoon at this brewery. We booked online and our tour guide Gavin was funny and gave us lots of details about how the brewery came to be. You get 1 beer and a koozie to take home when you book a tour which was also pretty cool. We ended up doing a beer and cocktail flight. The plave is pretty large with indoor and outdoor seating including food. We didn't eat but there were lots of pizzas to choose from which were similar to the ones in Rehoboth. There is also a Large bar to just hang out.
The atmosphere is through the roof!! Food amazing 🍕
Enjoyed Opera Delaware outdoors at Dogfish Head.
One of the OG mainstays of the craft brewing explosion in the East coast during the 00s and 10s. A must visit, and a really good vibe/scene.
Food on site is not too shabby either.

Beer 10/10
I am not a beer fan. Just not for me. I am a whiskey, bourbon, rum, tequila guy. I told that when I when I walked up to the bar. I did a beer flight with the beers that they said I would like. They were right. They were very good. I went into the gift shop, and that is when I saw it. Whiskeys. I found out that they make their own Whiskeys, rum, and Jin. I went bar to the bar and, of course, did a fight of what they made. All were well made.
It turned out to be a great time.
Awesome staff and great atmosphere.
So glad myself and my group made the trip up to the brewery from Rehoboth Beach. We booked the Off-Centered tour and were not disappointed; can't believe it's only
$20! Our tour guide was amazing, funny, and super attentive, and other staff was very nice and welcoming. Would recommend having a designated driver, or someone who partakes a little less, as it's easy to drink more beer than expected, considering what's on offer.
We stuck around post-tour to have our flights, and ended up grabbing some food along with it. The food was absolutely delicious, and this capped off the day really nicely.
Gift shop attendees were also so great and helped me and my group find beers that were well-worth purchasing, based on availability elsewhere.
10/10 experience that is very well-worth it.
Attended the noon off-centered tour today instead of the quicker 20-minute tour that’s offered and it was totally worth it. I went in with zero knowledge of Dogfish Head’s history and the brewing process in general so I found the tour really informative. Our guide was Gavin and he did a great job. His timely quips and jokes made the tour feel like we were hanging out with a friend while enjoying a few drinks.
When you do the tour you’re granted access to the steampunk-treehouse you pass as you approach the entrance. After climbing the spiral staircase to the top you’re greeted with facts about its illustrious past at both Burning Man and Coachella while be treating to yet another sample of beer.
Once you’re finished with the tour you can head into the tasting room and exchange your card for a flight of 4 Dogfish Head beers. It was cool to know you could save that for your next visit or turn in the card for one free canned beer to take home with you.
The experience was 100% worth it and I look forward to heading back in the future.
This is a fun place to visit. Lots of choices. Tasty food. Fantastic beers. Great staff. I highly recommend this place.
