Went to the Dough Bar this afternoon for lunch. Was seated at a dirty table outside and then waited for over 20 minutes and still not waited on. We ended up leaving with no lunch. Very disappointed
Food here is fantastic...when they have it. Have been in here a few times and they've been out of the French Dip. Been here recently and they were closed when they should have been open, no sign or anything. Makes it frustrating when it's a 10+ min drive to even get here let alone have to worry about Milton parking. And not have the thing you've been craving for a week.
Service has fallen off a bit, maybe short staffed, maybe they spoiled me from last year. I walked out once a couple weeks ago when I was seated and after 15 mins nobody asked if I wanted water or anything, meanwhile table across from me got asked if they wanted refills and had received them. I understand when they are busy but they weren't. Having said that, the staff is extremely friendly.
It's a shame because I really do enjoy this place. I come here at least every week or every other week. Hope it improves!
If I could give less than one star I would. Watched my DoorDash order to timer go up up up. Finally dasher texts me saying the order wasn’t started until after she got there and the delay was that they “weren’t doing door dash” but made an exception. Excuse me, how did I order this through DoorDash? Called the restaurant to see what’s going on. Rings forever to a voicemail that of course is full and not able to take any calls. And now my lunch break is over. DoorDash finally arrives an hour ish later with a BURNT pizza. They are 4 minutes away from where I work and started it late and served a burnt pizza and then take no responsibility whatsoever.
No service! Came on a Sunday around 1 waited 15 minutes at door with no acknowledgment during that time 3 other parties joined the line several servers walked by and no none even said it will be a minute. Mind you there were three tables inside and space outside. Left after 15 minutes didn’t eat there but I can tell you I left with a bad taste in my mouth. So disappointing was my first time and will never go back
I gave my a $6 tip and they charged a $10 tip and when I try to call them they never answer the phone
Never had a bad meal here; never had to wait for a table, either. The staff are friendly and always make us feel welcome.
We had lunch and had a reservation for the water experience.
We rented the water boats. So much fun and so relaxing! Will definitely do it again. 2 hours for sure!
We enjoyed our night and the staff were awesome.
Poor service and unprofessional owner. We were a party of (5). Went to the Milton Dough Bar this evening as they advertised their Girl Scout Cookie Flights. We requested (4) flights and were informed there would be a delay in the order as they did not have enough of the flight glasses. We finally received our orders after our food was finished and the flights were delivered over three separate deliveries over a 30 minute period. The server failed to provide a cocktail menu after two requests, neglected to check on us after the food was served, and conveyed an attitude of frustration and exasperation. If this wasn’t enough, the owner had the audacity to come to our space (we had an igloo space outside) and (paraphrased) asked us how long we would be as there were other customers waiting- we had just received the final flights. Due to the owner’s lack of operational management and supplies to fulfill advertised products-we were rushed. This is a complete embarrassment for the owner - I did speak with her and conveyed the former. I have previously enjoyed the Milton Dough Bar on multiple occasions. I will no longer patronize this establishment as a result of the owner and the clear inability to onboard staff and maintain sound service standards.
Got some Italian subs for takeout- delicious!

I’ve been here twice; both were pickup orders. Both times I got food that I didn’t order. I ordered a salad with ranch. How difficult is that? They gave me a cup of liquid cheese sauce instead. Both times I’ve tipped 20% which makes me feel foolish. If you can’t be bothered to spend 30 seconds verifying that my order is correct, you don’t deserve a tip. You don’t deserve my future business either. Congratulations, you earned it.

We love this place! All of the pizzas are delicious with fresh ingredients and a wide variety to choose from. The Caesar salad (and dressing) is very, very good with generous Parmesan and the greens are always fresh and crisp. Tonight we had “to go” and it was just as good. Shout out to Aaron and the kitchen for great service. Milton is fortunate to have several great dining spots and this is one of them.

First time trying out the Dough Bar in Milton, DE. The pizzas were yummy. We had the supreme pizza, a white pizza with broccoli, onion, bacon & sun dried tomatoes, the BBQ chicken pizza & The shrimp bacon corn chowder. The apps we had were the absolutely delicious maple bacon Brussel sprouts and the focaccia garlic bread board that came with garlic butter, marinara and Alfredo sauce. The wait staff were very polite and helpful and the restaurant itself is very cute and fun. They even have these heated igloos outside you can dine in and they were actually very warm. I will definitely return when visiting the area again!

Sad to say not great. Food mediocre Italian at best. Pizza was ok. Went there because the martini flight sounded great but even those a disappointment. Sugary rims and syrup with flavored vodkas. Don’t expect anything special.
