I have been going to Smokin D’z for years. It is one reason I love living at the beach. The food is amazing, but mostly I like this family that runs the business. My food favs are Classic sauce, chicken, ribs, pulled pork and baked beans. Really enjoy hanging out there when I catch a day when they have live music.

I just had the brisket sandwich for the first time. 🤯 It was SO good, and so big, that for $15, it will be lunch and dinner! The beans & coleslaw are fantastic, as usual. They couldn't be friendlier, and the food came out really fast. There was a band playing, so it was a very festive atmosphere. Between Smokin D's BBQ, the Hopkins Creamery and produce stand in one place, I'm so happy I live a mile down the road!

Initially we came to try the ice cream next door but couldn’t resist the smoked aroma that was hitting my nostrils. We ordered almost everything on the menu and it was smoked to perfection. Not only was the food amazing the customer service from the owner is what I will remember and why I’ll be a loyal customer moving forward. The owner approached us while we were eating and explained how he smoked the meat to perfection and gave us a sample of other delicious food on the menu. I highly recommend! They also have reasonable firewood for sale.
