Food was alright. Sort of bland.I cannot confirm, but I'm pretty sure gratuity was added to our bill (which is fine- I have no quarrels around tipping). However, the server took away the itemized bill and brought the slips to sign with recommended tips. So I couldn't confirm that I had already tipped her as part of the bill and I'm pretty sure we double tipped. (I'd rather overpay than underpay her, but if my suspicion is correct they could be getting a good chunk of extra income).

Kinda expensive but has aParking: It's in the Farmers market, open on the weekends, so plenty of parking, depending on the time you visit and the entrance you enter, you may have to drive around a few minutes to find a spot.

This was a very disappointing experience. The food was unremarkable. The problem was the time we spent there. The dining area was maybe 75% full when the two of us arrived. It was our first time visiting, so we stood at the counter by the menus not knowing what to do. After a few minutes, we were told to sit anywhere but were not given menus. Apparently we were supposed to get them ourselves, but we didn't know that. After 5 minutes or more, we were given menus and our drink order was taken. It took a little while to get the drinks and have our order taken. Then we waited and waited. We waited for our fish sandwich and shrimp meals for approximately 50 minutes!! Other people appeared to be waiting a similar amount of time because nobody came in after us and got their food before us. The place was just incredibly slow and nobody ever apologized for the wait. All this time, we were not even addressed until about the 45-minute mark at which point we were told the food would arrive soon. We ate and then had to wait another 10-12 minutes to get our check and pay. All told we were there for about 1.5 hrs. We just had some fried fish, shrimp and fries. It should not have taken 50 minutes for that to arrive at our table and the other 40 minutes would've been cut down to about 15 in any restaurant with good service. This could have been a 30-40 minute experience at a well-functioning restaurant. At the time of my review, the score is 4.3 stars with 603 reviews. I've never had such a bad experience at a 4+ star place. Needless to say, we won't be back. There are plenty of other seafood places nearby.

Our Christmas Weekend tradition. We started this long ago and have had the same waitress since we started. My mom is no longer with us, but we keep the tradition going....and yes, with the same waitress...she is darling!! Thanks again to the staff for being cool and allowing us to continue our family tradition with some new friends added along the way. As silly as it may be to some, it's our thing and we are a fun crew who enjoys fun people....here we are 20 plus years later. ? Merry Christmas and Felize Navidad

Great customer service. Horrible fish. I ordered whiting. The fish tasted spoiled, rank, and undercooked. I can not recommend this place for fish. The person who took my order was very courteous.

This was my first visit here and it didn’t disappoint. The food was great. No complaints here. It’s not inexpensive relative to what one pays to dine out in late 2023, however, it’s definitely not over priced. What one gets is tasty, well cooked, and fresh. Maybe I came at a good time. It wasn’t terribly busy and that was surprising. What I did see was very much a welcoming family kind of atmosphere. I’m honestly not much of a seafood guy so please excuse my opinions if I’m not gushing over with enthusiasm. Would I consider this a bit of a treat when cost is included? Unfortunately, yes but still worth a visit. Would I visit again? Absolutely! The menu is expansive with many choices. Will I choose the same thing on a future visit? Yes, but only after trying some other things from the menu. I have a habit of locking in to one or two “favourites” and not trying anything else. I don’t want to do that here.
