Evening drive over the DE bridge to grab a quick bite was the initial plan, but the ignorance and rude personality we received from server Jaclyn B was not!! First off how about going over the order to confirm accuracy instead of repeating “is that it?” Then give a pissy ATTITUDE because you messed up our order!! We’ve frequent Aunt Berta’s Kitchen in both Jersey locations quite often, so we wanted to try DE, Big Mistake!! On this server’s schedule!! Hospitality is KEY!! Not to mention accuracy!! Thought I was finished but got home and the entire order was messed up!! I was charged for potato salad- didn’t get. Husband asked for collards and got green beans!! Thanks Jacklyn B for the nasty attitude and awful service!!

As always, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly and was mouthwatering. The fried whiting and jerk turkey wings are a must-try entrée and my go-to choice when ordering.
I’ve eaten from this restaurant twice so far. I am pleased with the food items I have ordered so far. So far I’ve had the fried whiting fish platter, Cajun turkey wings, black eyed peas with rice, yams, collard greens and strawberry pound cake. Everything has been delicious, I’ve had other soul food in the area and I like Aunt Berta’s the best. Thank you for the kind and fast service.
