Capt Zeak's Crab House and Seafood

The shrimp was pretty good but the fried whiting fish was fishy tasting. I wouldn't order that again. Might try the crabs next time as I heard they wash clean and steam them for an extra fee.

One of the most reliable seafood locations in DE. Located on the easy find route 13, Captain Zeaks is the place for fresh cooked crabs, and any other cooked to go or long order you want. Their platters are perfectly per portioned, always hot, and always fresh.

Called ahead to order crabs for Father's day! They were ready at scheduled time. Had crabs cleaned and sautéed. Cost $8.00 extra for the whole dozen. Well worth it! Crabs were split, cleaned, and ready to eat. They are sautéed in garlic butter and old bay. Now, I can never eat crabs any other way. My husband also got oysters shucked. I believe that was an extra $12.00. But also worth it. They are served over ice with lemons in a nice tray. Everything was so fresh!

I was in there Friday and I must say I will never be back. The lady at the counter, Tuba was extremely rude. I did have a lot of questions about the menu because I have never been here before. she seemed highly irritated and made me rush to order when i was still undecided. Then when i finally ordered she basically stomped away. My food was over cooked and too salty. When it was done she put it on the counter and didn’t even call my name. Next time, I’ll stick to what I know and will go to Jays in Wilmington.

It has been a while since I stopped at this place and got something to eat I bought these writing sandwich and it was probably the nastiest fried fish I ever had it seemed like they didn't have their season mixed up well you got different tastes from different bites of the fish too much lemon pepper taste I will never stop there again

I’ve been going to Captain Zeaks consistently for about a year or more now. I am always raving about their body make crabs with garlic seasoning! Very meaty and flavorful. If you haven’t tried the crab sauce in your butter, you’re missing out! SO GOOD!! My order is always prepared when I arrive. The staff go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. Please always speak up if you are not satisfied as they will most certainly rectify the issue. I would like to call out Shy specifically. She always takes my order with a smile, very well spoken and attentive. Thank you to the entire Captain Zeak’s team that makes it happen Monday-Sunday. You have a loyal customer 100%

we ordered half a bushel of XL crabs for a sunday morning. Staff was awesome and brought them out to my car since I had my dog with me! Crabs were FULL of meat and hot! Expensive but most definitely worth it for the quality of crabs you recieve. Will get a full bushel next time! would 10/10 recommend to family and friends who want good high quality crabs that are not a waste of time to eat! My only complaint would be to add a ton more seasoning but hey you can always add more at home!
