I really enjoy captain zekes, however, the way business is ran can be confusing and disappointing. I order from them almost once a week during crab season and the crabs are always flavorful, however, today I called at 4:25pm to ask what time they close and the manager said they stopped taking orders at 6:45pm. I called back at 6:22pm to place my order and the lady told me that the manager told her to stop taking orders at 6:15pm.Her reasoning is bc they were backed up. That has nothing to do with me as a customer. If the business is open and still has the product, why should I have to miss out on something I was looking forward to all day? Sucks, but they may have lost a loyal, referring customer, simply bc they are not consistent.

Found a new spot to get cooked seafood! Prices aren't too bad but I'm one who is willing to pay for what I want. With seafood, it's usually a lot!
Pretty good crabs, kind of on the small side, but it is early in the season so hopefully they will get bigger. Will update this post in a couple of months.

Their crawfish had to be old and rotten or something. They were so green inside I didn’t even try one. The crab cakes were good fingers crossed that I don’t get sick.

Ordered Crabs for Mother's Birthday. Had it Got Fresh and Perfectly Seasoned.
Thank You much to everyone at the store. My service was amazing but lets get into these large male crabs. So juicy right amount of season these big boys were made with love. Oh did I mention it is off season so to have some blues thisss good was nothing short but exciting. Thank You again to the entire staff for your outstanding service.

I have to agree with the person who said worst crabs ever, Friday evening 2/23/2024 my niece and I bought a dozen "glad I didn't buy more" the old bay was just thrown in the bag,but the worst part was, I got violently sick, I must have vomited off and on for 2hours, normally I would only buy my crabs live so I can cook them myself, these crabs were not mushy which means they didn't cook the dead ones,but what it does mean they had been cooked and sitting, for how long only the staff at captain zekes would know but what I do know is I will never ever buy crabs from this place again

Worst crabs ever, old bay just thrown on there wasn’t even sticking to crabs, half of my crabs where dead before cooked, I will never EVER eat these crabs again. These reviews are LYING they did a BAD job with my crabs smh never again.
