The pico de gayo is the freshest and best I've ever had. The tacos were fantastic and I recommend the lamb stew also. Looking forward to going back.

I’ve been to El Pique a few times maybe 5-6 I get the same thing basically the lamb consommé and a lamb(barbacoa) burrito…today I got the same plus a diablo pollo (chicken) burrito…Bella Mar got the torta…and taquitos let’s go down the list of problems….
1. They spelled torta…. “Torto” 🚩 2. They forgot her taquitos totally 🚩 3. Everything except the consommé was cold 🚩 4. The consommé had little to no meat or chickpeas like it was the end of the day and I got what was left 🚩 5. The barbacoa burrito was all rice and cheese and maybe 1/2 an ounce of meat 🚩 (also cold)🚩 6. French fried cold as ice 🚩
I had to apologize to her cause I’ve never ever had an experience like this at El Pique (it was the one in New Castle and I always go here it was just terrible)

Birria was not traditional shredded chuck roast. Seemed like chopped up steak. Portion was very small as well. Great flavor however. Consome had chickpeas in it which was new to me.

I ordered suadero tacos to go. The tacos were too dry and extremely salty, we couldn't eat them and had to throw them away. Salsa was not included. So awful.
I think the birria tacos are a little overhyped, the flavor is not good, the tortillas have no flavor. The meat doesn’t taste seasoned. The Consume is overwhelmed with onions and cilantro, and that’s all you can taste couldn’t eat it all. Feels like a waste of money.

This is unacceptable to serve anyone! It took so long I didn’t even realize this was what I got until I was right about to eat it. I like their Sopes and birra tacos. I will stick to that and never order a burrito from here again!
