Really enjoyed this place but they are never open - deli but open 8am-4pm. Who can stop for dinner by 4pm? Super Bowl Sunday closed at 4pm. Food is great but there hours suck. Sign on the door say open and Google say open but they are not

By far my favorite deli in Delaware. Every time I’ve had lunch from here it’s been extremely consistent and phenomenal. The employees are extremely welcoming and very pleasant.

I ordered an italian sub with extra onions and extra lettuce with salt pepper and oregano. The sub was super salty and barely had any lettuce or onions on it not even that a regular sub should have. I was highly disappointed. I used to get subs here all the time and it was one of my favorite places, but now I was told it’s under new ownership. I only ate a few bites of the sub and threw the rest away, it was nasty. I didn’t feel like calling to complain or get a new sub as they should already know how to make a sub. I definitely won’t be back there. I’ll go to Jersey Mike’s as they’re the best!

Excellent rueben just as the reviews said! We had pickles on our sandwich but were hoping for a pickle spear. 🥒🥒 Prepared in front of us fresh! Delish and definitely worth the detour off the interstate to have a well prepped sammy.

Solid homestyle deli. Great sandwiches (love the Reuben). Perfect for lunch before heading out to the Jack Markell or Battery Park trails. Love the accommodating service.
Food was okay, but server did not wear gloves. I asked him about wearing gloves while preparing the food and he told me he washes his hands a lot.

I've been a loyal customer of Garrison's Deli for months, especially for their Reubens, which were always excellent. The service and food quality kept me coming back.
Unfortunately, something has changed. Today, my order was wrong, and the Reuben was so sloppy I could hardly pick it up. Even worse, the new desserts in the cooler were moldy. I pointed this out to the gentleman behind the counter, and he did discard them, but it was still disappointing.
I'm not sure if there's new ownership or management, but the decline is clear. I won't be returning.
