I have eaten here many times before. Today I was very disappointed with my food. The curry chicken was completely dried out with no curry sauce what so ever. The cabbage was bland with no flavor. I’m guessing maybe a new cook?

I normally check reviews before I buy food from a new place, but today I was hungry and didn't want to go too far away from Southbridge. I ordered a small oxtails meal. The oxtails were old, chewy and hard. When I called to ask if they would replace the meal, I was first questioned multiple times as to whether I purchased them there and then after I was persistent; I was told that they do not replace bad meals. That's poor customer service! However, if I had read your reviews, I would have known better.?

I finally visited this restaurant and I'm ashamed to say it took so long. It was a great time of day because it wasn't busy. There was plenty of seats available, I didn't wait to be helped, and everything was in stock! All menu items, refreshments, and desserts! This sounds weird but it isn't uncommon for Jamaican restaurants to run out of some food item.Value: I ordered a small plate of Jerk Chicken. It came with a choice of white rice or rice & peas and cabbage. I also had a choice of plantain or yams/sweet potatoes. This is a great value because it's common for you to only get a choice of rice and 1 additional side item. Additionally, I purchased a Ginger Beer and a slice of Carrot Cake.Taste: The rice and peas were good. They had a traditional Jamaican taste that was dryer and the way I like it. The jerk chicken was mild and had a BBQ-like taste. It didn't taste like traditional Jerk to me but was well flavored. The portions are generous so you will be full before you finish it.The Ginger Beer was a classic bottled beverage. The taste was consistent. Nothing really to report.The carrot cake was the overall winner! WOW! Perfectly flavored, not too heavy, and the a good price for the portion. I highly recommend you try this if you like carrot cake. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Please look for my review update in the next 3 months.

Food was disgusting and had a spoiled smell to it. I sent my girlfriend to get me some peppered steak and it tasted as if it was made with bbq sauce. I’ll never buy from here ever again.

Don’t order food with them through Uber eats. They call me EVERY time about the prices, then they also have listed that they sell fruits drinks. You select that on Uber eats they call saying they don’t know what kind of drink I’m asking for. The store staff or restaurant that is partners with UBER EATS should get the prices right through the APP! It’s annoying receiving a call from the delivery person about y’all prices. This is literally the 3rd time.

I Had the oxtail which had a burnt smell to it and there was hardly any seasoning on the food at all . The rice was drowned in that burnt gravy sauce I am very disappointed could not finish my food . Cabbage was okay but nothing to double back for .

Got a large curry goat (mostly bone and gravy) taste was good, not too salty, lack of heat though. 2-beef Patties (flat, dry up meat and lack of filling) was hard to eat and enjoy.
