I’ve been known to drive from New Jersey just for the pizza. We get a whole Sicilian pizza for 2 of us. We have it for 3 days. The best pizza I have ever had.

Today is 8/13/23 And I am telling you about the poor experience I had today at this Pizzeria. Signs are placed all over the outside of the curtains stating they open at 9:30 am.My husband and I are patiently waiting for the place to open. At 9:30 am we hear crickets still.We are both physically disabled and do have a hard time standing. With the curtains still closed, no where was to be sat. My husband looks threw the slit in the curtain and sees numerous pizzas made already. 9:32 am now. He yells out to an employee and he tells the employee the time. The employee says they are closed and raises his hand in a gesture of waving my husband offMy husband begins now to call the pizzeria where as soon as they pick up, they hung up on him. The last call at 9:36 am the employee does not hang up on my husband and they finally open the pizzeria.After several more minutes to open the curtains, my husband speaks to the person who claims to be in charge and nothing really is accomplished in the conversation.All my husband and I received after the conversation was ridicule and nasty looks.My husband did inform the so called person in charge that we were disabled and just needed to sit down at the time they were supposed to open. His response was “ what do you want me to do? Fire them for 5 minutes”. I told him a start and finish would have been a simple sorry.I was also informed they did not open till 10 am contrary to the signsWe looked forward to coming on the weekends to get a slice of pizza. To many places to get food with a friendly atmosphere. Never again here.My husband and I did not sit down till 9:50 am.

This is in the middle of NewCastle Flea Market, but Mamma Gina's is a wonderful fixture of this community. The staff works very hard and they're friendly and fast, like they enjoy their work and rightfully so. They make excellent pizza!! The Tomatoe Pie is like none other. 'Ta da for'!!
